Lucas Golon ran for 105 yards and two touchdowns and caught two touchdown passes, including a 20-yarder from Kevin Kelly with three minutes left, to lift Carle Place to a 35-33 win over Malverne Thursday in Nassau IV.

Golon scored on a 20-yard pass from Kelly in the third quarter to tie it at 27.

Roosevelt 35, Valley Stream North 6: Johnnie Akins had 11 carries for 206 yards and scored on a 66-yard run with 1:18 left in the first quarter to give Roosevelt a 21-6 lead in a Nassau IV game cut short in the third quarter by lightning. Roosevelt's Raymond Jones had eight tackles, including three for a loss, and two sacks, and James Nuapah added six tackles, two for a loss.

Locust Valley 25, Mineola 12: Jordan Formicola had 47 yards on eight carries and two touchdowns, including a 2-yard score with 9:05 left in the fourth to give Locust Valley a 19-12 lead in Nassau IV. Matt Vezza gained 153 yards on 15 carries and had two touchdowns, including a 30-yarder with 1:51 left for the final margin. Dan Syrett had two sacks and a fumble recovery, and Yamique Webb had an interception for Locust Valley.

West Hempstead 56, Clarke 21:Bruce Gibbs ran for 130 yards and four touchdowns to lead West Hempstead in Nassau IV. Enrique McFarland had 134 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Vinny Messina led West Hempstead with six tackles. Plainedge 35, Floral Park 0: Nick Frenger had a 23-yard TD run in the first quarter, and Gianfranco Soriente added a 1-yard touchdown run in the second to give Plainedge a 14-0 halftime lead in Nassau III. Frenger hit Kevin Walker for a 25-yard TD pass in the third, and Soriente added a 32-yard rushing TD in the fourth to make it 28-0. Jake Schozer led Plainedge with 11 tackles, and the Red Devils had four sacks. Great Neck North 14, St. Dominic 6: Brian Kahen hit Justin Nasimi (60 yards receiving) for a 40-yard touchdown with four minutes left in the third to lift Great Neck North in Nassau V. Kahen scored on a 1-yard run with 4:30 left in the second quarter to give Great Neck North a 7-6 lead. Dago Rodriguez led Great Neck North with nine tackles.

Friends Academy 21, Jericho 0: Tyrone Perkins gained 119 yards on 24 carries and scored on a 9-yard run in the first quarter to give Friends Academy a 7-0 lead in Nassau V. Corey Goldglit connected with Cam Constants for a 40-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter, and Bill Rechler followed with a 4-yard touchdown run for the final margin. Austin Rossi made 15 tackles and Jalijah Daniels had an interception and five tackles for the Quakers.
