TJ Wakely broke up Floral Park’s potential go-ahead two-point pass with 1:20 remaining to preserve Carey’s 14-13 Nassau Conference III win Saturday.

Ben Rose had seven carries for 68 yards and gave Carey a 14-0 lead with a 51-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. James Gangone had two carries for 48 yards and a touchdown and William Tolliver had 11 carries for 53 yards.

Ryan Connolly threw two touchdown passes to Joshua Lewis and Chase McLoughlin in the fourth quarter for Floral Park. Salvatore DiMarco had seven tackles and Jake Vitale and Vincent Tierney each had five tackles for Carey (5-3).

Plainedge 48, Manhasset 7: Caden Morra was 6-for-6 for 174 yards and three touchdowns as Plainedge (8-0) won its 20th straight game. Shane Mosia’s rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries and returned a fumble 22 yards for a score to give Plainedge a 28-0 lead in the first quarter. Vincent Cavaliere caught three passes for 122 yards, including a 78-yard touchdown. Joe Cassese had four carries for 48 yards and a touchdown. Mike DeMatteo and Anthony Gentile each added a TD catch.

Hewlett 28, Division 0: John Cusumano led Hewlett with 144 yards and four touchdowns on 18 carries for Hewlett (2-6). Ariel Waldman had 64 yards on 10 carries, and recorded 11 tackles. Spencer Smith contributed 10 tackles and a sack as Hewlett recorded its first shutout of the season.

Wantagh 41, Glen Cove 8: Nick Cupelli had a 55-yard touchdown run and a 58-yard punt return for a touchdown and finished with 161 all-purpose yards on eight touches for Wantagh (7-1). Joe Legovich completed both of his passes for 55 yards, including a 35-yard pass to Tom Conway, and ran for a 1-yard touchdown. A.J. Bardi and Antony Tsakos each had eight tackles and forced two fumbles.

Bethpage 27, Valley Stream North 6: Will McMullen scored on rushing touchdowns of 17 yards and 42 yards for Bethpage (6-2). Ryan Dupre added a 1-yard touchdown run and Sean Smith completed a 36-yard touchdown pass to Jake Geller. Gerry DelCarpine caught an 80-yard touchdown pass from Nick Naumov for Valley Stream North.
