Nassau football Week 8 conference roundups

Nassau Conference I
Oceanside 56, Hempstead 27: Chace Morris rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries to lead visiting Oceanside to a 56-27 win over Hempstead in Nassau Conference I football on Saturday. Dylan Parker had eight carries for 192 yards and two scores and caught a 48-yard TD pass from Shane Harmon for Oceanside (6-2). Amare Collins caught two TD passes and Lamarcus Parsons ran for two scores for Hempstead (3-5).
Freeport 51, Uniondale 8: Judah Murchison threw three touchdown passes and had an 8-yard rushing score to lead host Freeport (3-5). Dawud Abdul-Ali and Andrew Carter each caught a TD pass. Jalen Brown caught a 33-yard TD pass and returned a punt 50 yards for a score. Glen Person III had an 18-yard rushing score in the first quarter. Xavier Moore ran for a 57-yard TD for Uniondale (1-7).
Massapequa 55, Herricks/Wheatley 13: Andrew Pedalino rushed for 150 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries to lead visiting Massapequa (8-0). Cole Villalta caught four passes for 65 yards and a TD from Luke Garguilo. Yianni Doulis threw two TD passes for Herricks/Wheatley (2-6).
Port Washington 46, Hicksville 8: Joe Fox had 12 carries for 152 yards and three touchdowns to lead visiting Port Washington (5-3). Dylan Freeman had eight carries for 115 yards and two TDs and Harry Eynon completed 10 of 14 passes for 85 yards and added a rushing TD. John Mayou had an interception and Eddie Conlon had a 39-yard pick-6. Ryan Seemangal threw a TD pass to Marco Rodriguez for Hicksville (1-7).
Syosset 35, Westbury 13: On Friday, Michael Mifsud ran for touchdowns of 9, 68 and 9 yards to lead host Syosset (4-4). Ethan Dizon ran for a 25-yard score and completed a 13-yard TD pass to Jackson Adler. Dylan Marvin and Sebastian Casabianca each had an interception. Salvatore Laudicina made all five of his PATs. Terron Hardy and Brandon Chavez each ran for a TD for Westbury (3-5).
Farmingdale 42, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 7: On Thursday, Jovens Thodate had 271 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries to lead visiting Farmingdale (7-1). Nick Toto completed a 25-yard TD pass to Patrick Videau and Sean Schumeyer added a 71-yard TD run. Mateo Morales had eight tackles and a sack, Jack McCarthy had six tackles and Ive Mills had two interceptions. Farmingdale coach Buddy Krumenacker tied Don Snyder for the most wins in program history with 237. Krumenacker also won 77 games at Hempstead. Ethan Brake ran for a touchdown for Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (5-3).
Nassau Conference II
Calhoun 21, Baldwin 14: Tim Lynch completed 15 of 26 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns to lead visiting Calhoun to a 21-14 win over Baldwin in Nassau Conference II football on Saturday. Brandon Meyers caught two passes for 87 yards and two TDs and Joe Belbol caught three passes for 91 yards and a TD. AJ Nill had nine tackles. Gianni Castiglia, Angel Molina-Wong and James Chicco each had five tackles and a sack. Keith Schaefer had six tackles and an interception for Calhoun (5-4). Michael Jordan threw two touchdown passes for Baldwin (3-5).
Garden City 42, New Hyde Park 0: Anthony Asaro had eight carries for 95 yards and two touchdowns and Brayden Robertiello ran four times for 44 yards and two TDs to lead visiting Garden City (8-0). The Trojans extended their Long Island-record winning streak to 62 games and tied Maine-Endwell for the longest winning streak in New York. Owen Andersen and Jack Campolettano each added a touchdown run. New Hyde Park is 3-5.
Roosevelt 34, Roslyn 15: Tyreik McClenic rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown and added a passing TD to lead visiting Roosevelt (3-5). Elyjah McRae rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown. Asher Berkowitz threw an 80-yard touchdown pass for Roslyn (0-8).
Long Beach 33, Valley Stream Central 6: Brody Riedel caught three touchdown passes and ran for 82 yards and a score to lead host Long Beach (6-2). Charlie Conway threw four TD passes, including a 21-yard TD pass to Jaron Burns. Evan Nelson scored a touchdown for Valley Stream Central (3-5).
Jericho 33, Glen Cove 24: On Friday, Jake Morgan forced a fumble and Hudson Gingold returned it 98 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to lead host Jericho (4-4). Jonathan Fortunoff returned a fumble 42 yards for a TD in the first quarter. Max Spector threw for 150 yards, including a 67-yard score to Morgan, and ran for a 39-yard score and made three PATs. JP Wang added a 15-yard TD rush. Michael Telese rushed for two touchdowns for Glen Cove (1-7).
Nassau Conference III
Floral Park 21, Wantagh 14: Justin Mallon ran 17 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns to lead host Floral Park to a 21-14 win over Wantagh in Nassau Conference III football on Saturday. Mallon completed 7 of 9 passes for 97 yards and threw a TD pass to Chris Mancz in the first quarter. Mancz also had a sack and six tackles for Floral Park (5-3). Luke Martini had a receiving score and a rushing TD for Wantagh (5-3).
Bethpage 28, Carey 14: Vincent Morice ran for 64 yards and two touchdowns to lead host Bethpage (7-1). Chase Solliday ran for 89 yards and a score and caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Michael Mastrangelo. Louis Schneider ran for 75 yards on 11 carries. James McGrath had TD runs of 11 and 2 yards for Carey (6-2).
Valley Stream North 20, Manhasset 14: Tyler Malyah’s 8-yard TD pass to Marco DiCostanzo gave host Valley Stream North (4-4) the lead in the fourth quarter. Izaiah Hill rushed for 161 yards and a TD and Dom Verso rushed for 46 yards and added 14 tackles. Joseph Capolino added a 6-yard rushing score. Luke DePietro and Henry Jervis each scored a rushing TD for Manhasset (3-5).
Hewlett 19, Sewanhaka 13: Stefano Borsellino rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and completed five passes for 71 yards and a score to lead visiting Hewlett (2-6). Dylan Parchment added 53 yards and a TD on seven carries. Jon Hillsberg caught a 41-yard TD pass and had five tackles and an interception. Daniel Tolstykh and Kobe Cox combined for 21 total tackles, six TFLs, four sacks and a forced fumble. Jostin Poveda added 12 tackles, two TFLs and an interception. Lance Williams threw a TD pass and ran for a score for Sewanhaka (1-7).
South Side 29, Elmont 8: Connor McNulty completed seven passes for 86 yards and a touchdown and ran for 35 yards and a TD to lead host South Side (6-2). Ethan Johnson rushed for 60 yards and a score on nine carries and caught two passes for 40 yards. AJ Magaraci had 19 carries for 57 yards and a score and Colin Kenny caught a 10-yard TD pass. Elijah Davis scored a 3-yard rushing TD for Elmont (3-5).
Valley Stream South 35, Mineola 20: Danny Casey ran for three touchdowns to lead visiting Valley Stream South (4-4). David Brooks added a 35-yard TD run. Casey, Emmanuel Williams, and Henry Hernandez each had a sack. Hunter Rush had an interception. Gavin McLaughlin threw a TD pass, ran for a score and returned an interception 94 yards for a touchdown for Mineola (0-8).
Nassau Conference IV
Oyster Bay 28, East Rockaway 22: Joe Henry threw for 115 yards and three touchdowns and added 14 carries for 133 yards and a score to lead visiting Oyster Bay to a 28-22 win over East Rockaway in Nassau Conference IV football Friday night. His brother, George, caught a 22-yard scoring pass and a two-point pass and added seven tackles and a fumble recovery. Chase Lordi caught three passes for 70 yards and two scores and had 11 tackles. Chris Barbera and Thomas Vidro each had eight tackles for Oyster Bay (3-5). Matt Delligatti, Jethro Jacquet and Tristen Rose each ran for a touchdown for East Rockaway (2-6).
Lynbrook 42, North Shore 12: Marco Palleschi returned an interception 35 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter to lead host Lynbrook (6-2). The Owls scored on each of their first six offensive possessions. Michael Potash had six carries for 89 yards and two touchdowns and Chase Samelson completed four passes for 91 yards and two scores and added 72 rushing yards. Miles Storm and Orji Agwu each caught a touchdown pass. Paolo Palleschi added a scoring run and Chris Mangieri had an interception. Joseph Cristofari and Angelo Anobile each ran for a touchdown for North Shore (2-6).
Carle Place 37, Lawrence 20: On Saturday, Ryan Leary returned two punts for touchdowns, caught a 50-yard touchdown pass and made five PATs to lead visiting Carle Place (6-2). Alex Rothstock had sack in the end zone for a safety and a fumble recovery. Jason Rodrigues added a fumble recovery. Mario Dalassendro and Tyler Marquart each had an interception and Jack Ryan had five tackles. Khalil Brassell threw two touchdown passes for Lawrence (0-8).
Locust Valley 21, West Hempstead 6: Marcus Houghtaling had eight carries for 45 yards and a TD and made 12 tackles to lead visiting Locust Valley (4-4). Braden Houghtaling had seven carries for 100 yards and a TD and made 10 tackles. Liam Baker had a rushing TD and made seven tackles. Aidan Russo rushed for 53 yards. Jonathan Houston threw a 15-yard TD pass to Yency Duran for West Hempstead (4-4).
