Santo leads West Islip

Anthony Santo completed 6 of 10 passes for 157 yards and three TDs and rushed for 58 yards on seven carries and a TD to lead West Islip to a 33-16 win over Bay Shore Saturday in Suffolk I football. Mike Anaboli had three sacks and five tackles and Pat Ryan eight tackles for West Islip (3-1). Bay Shore is 0-4.

Floyd 49, Brentwood 7: A.J. Otranto passed for 157 yards and four TDs to lead Floyd (3-1). Stacey Bedell rushed for 138 yards on 13 carries and two TDs. Keith Scanlon had two receiving TDs. Vinny Giordani had eight tackles and two sacks. Brentwood is 1-3.

Northport 28, Connetquot 12: Ryan Kokell scored three TDs to lead Northport (2-2). Brian Wallace had a 60-yard interception return for a TD to make it 14-0. Connetquot is 1-3.

Lindenhurst 35, Central Islip 12: Brad Witkowski went 14-for-16 for 174 yards and a TD to lead Lindenhurst (3-1). Joe Lukralle rushed for 59 yards and a score, and Keith Skon had nine catches for 114 yards and a touchdown and returned an interception 20 yards for a TD in the second quarter. Alec Wreith, Matt Colpon and Keith Meisner each had six tackles for the Bulldogs. Central Islip is 0-4.

Patchogue-Medford 49, Commack 14: Chris Makulik's 85-yard run in the third quarter, his third of the game, gave Patchogue-Medford (1-3) a 35-0 lead. Makulik rushed for 196 yards on 18 carries and Jack Keough rushed for 40 yards on eight carries with two TDs. Joe Altrui set a school record with seven extra points. Commack is 2-2.

Sachem East 34, Ward Melville 0: Steven Casali's 60-yard interception return for a TD with 1:30 left in the first half gave Sachem East (4-0) a 27-0 lead. Casali had 115 yards on eight carries and two TDs and had 15 tackles. Mike Marchello had seven tackles and Nick Fiero six tackles. Ward Melville is 1-3.
