Jaquan Smith rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries to lead Elmont over Long Beach, 36-21, Saturday in Conference II football.

Smith's 35-yard touchdown run with 1:00 left provided the Spartans with the margin of victory.

Charlie Dimoh had 11 tackles and two sacks and Ben Odugbesan had 13 tackles and two blocked punts.

Kyle Johnson and Dennis Melendez had eight tackles apiece for Elmont (5-2). Long Beach is 4-3.

Calhoun 33, New Hyde Park 18: Corey Barchat ran for 107 yards and two touchdowns to lead Calhoun (3-4).

Nick Pititto ran for 60 yards and a score and, at cornerback, had four tackles and two sacks.

Matthew Brennan was 7-for-15 for 96 yards and his 34-yard touchdown to Joe McGinley gave the Colts a 20-3 lead with 4:40 left in the second quarter. Julian Lee ran for 44 yards and a touchdown.

Linebacker Robert Rinck had nine tackles and recovered a fumble. Matthew Lemonis recovered a fumble, Jack Bennett and Joohyung Kang each had a sack and Pat Tucker had an interception.

Bellmore JFK 35, Great Neck South 7: Adrian Rose threw for 110 yards and two touchdowns to lead Bellmore JFK (2-5).

Will Diana ran for a touchdown and had three catches for 47 yards and a score.

Joe Karo ran for 90 yards and, at cornerback, had three tackles and an interception.

Cornerback Patrick Kutil had three tackles, an interception and recovered a fumble.

Westbury 24, Valley Stream Central 21: Brandon Wilson's 4-yard touchdown run with 2:02 left won it for Westbury (4-3) on Friday night.

After Valley Stream Central went up 21-18, Chanse Watson caught a 76-yard pass to set up the winning touchdown.

Wilson ran for 80 yards and two touchdowns and Watson had two catches for 105 yards and a TD.

On VSC's final drive, Westbury forced a turnover on downs with 1:28 left.
