Nick Elliott caught a 34-yard touchdown reception from Jayden Isselbacher with 1:59 left in the fourth quarter to tie the score, and Anthony Jean-Baptiste’s ensuing PAT gave Patchogue-Medford a 28-27 victory over Ward Melville in Suffolk Division I Friday night.

Alex Hofmann had eight tackles and recovered a fumble forced by Max Adams and Joe Kelly on Ward Melville’s final drive.

Isselbacher, the team’s third-string quarterback, threw for 170 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 67 yards and two scores. Elliot had three receptions for 53 yards, C.J. Forgione had six receptions for 57 yards and five solo tackles and Justin Marcia-Joachim added three receptions for 52 yards and a score for Patchogue-Medford (4-4).

Longwood 36, Brentwood 14: Anthony Ordonez had three rushing touchdowns and totaled 54 yards on six carries for Longwood (6-2). Nnamdi Nwanyanu had 91 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. Mason Hauser had an interception.

Sachem East 50, Central Islip 27: AJ Vurchio threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to his brother, Michael, to open the scoring for Sachem East (4-4). AJ Vurchio added a 3-yard touchdown run to give Sachem East a 27-13 in the third quarter. Michael Vurchio also had a 7-yard touchdown run. Andrew Mileto added two touchdown runs, including a 24-yard score.

Floyd 42, Commack 6: LaDuke Harris rushed for 117 yards and TDs on four carries, and had a 27-yard touchdown pass to Tyree Hubbard for Floyd (8-0). Gio Alvarez had four receptions for 150 yards and two scores. Aaron Fisher had six tackles (five for a loss) and three sacks and Conner Taphouse had six tackles and two sacks.

Whitman 30, Bay Shore 0: Nick Fazio threw two touchdown passes of 73- and 36 yards to lead Whitman (5-3). Jacob Somer blocked a punt that Cameron Carlson ran in for a 4-yard score to put Whitman up 13-0 in the first quarter.

Sachem North 40, Riverhead 0: Tyler Hall rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries for Sachem North (6-2). Anthony Vino had a 37-yard touchdown run and was 3-for-5 passing for 61 yards, including a 37-yard touchdown pass to James Reid. Lucas Singleton had four carries for 33 yards and a score and Nate Gsell returned a fumble 46 yards for a TD.
