Jovanny Brown led Half Hollow Hills East with 250 rushing yards and one touchdown in their 23-12 win over Lindenhurst in Suffolk Division II Friday night. Brown’s 96-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter gave Half Hollow Hills East a 22-6 lead.

Nigel Clay added 67 yards on the ground and one touchdown. Ian Gallub and Jimmy Couluris had two sacks apiece and combined for 15 tackles. Josh Isaacs added 10 tackles and one sack for Half Hollow Hills East (4-3). 

Connetquot 23, Huntington 13: Nick Pepitone completed 6-of-12 passes for 216 yards and a TD and rushed for 110 yards to lead Connetquot (5-2). Tommy Malvagno caught two passes for 74 yards and a TD, Dennis Milano made four catches for 142 yards and Michael Buttino rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Victor Truglio had 16 tackles (two for a loss), two sacks and a fumble recovery. Aydan DeLiso had two sacks.

Northport 20, West Islip 13: Tim Cleary’s interception as time expired sealed the win for Northport (5-2). Christian Raio had a 5-yard touchdown run to cap a 10-play opening drive. His twin brother, Michael, rushed for a 5-yard TD with 5:29 remaining in the fourth to give Northport the lead. Mike Campoli added a 60-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter. Thomas Kraus had 12 tackles for Northport.

North Babylon 22, Centereach 12: Nathaniel Griffith ran for 208 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries to lead North Babylon (5-2). Griffith scored both touchdowns in the fourth quarter on runs of 34- and 81 yards. Joel Lomax opened the scoring for the Bulldogs with a 76-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter. Lomax ran for 87 yards and had 10 tackles and a sack.

West Babylon 42, Smithtown East 14: Isaiah Richardson returned an interception 99 yards for a touchdown and caught a 16-yard touchdown pass for West Babylon (3-4). Elijah Outlaw threw two touchdown passes and Drew McKittrick rushed for two scores. Thomas Raccomandato added a 19-yard touchdown reception and Nick Field had an 11-yard rushing touchdown.

Bellport 35, Newfield 9: Donte Phillips rushed for two touchdowns, a 67-yarder and a 4-yarder, and caught a 63-yard touchdown pass for Bellport (6-1). Justin Miles rushed for 9-yard touchdown in the first quarter and threw the 63-yard touchdown pass to Phillips in the second quarter. Jaiden Green had a 9-yard rushing TD in the fourth quarter to cap Bellport’s scoring.

Smithtown West 38, Copiague 0: Brayden Stahl completed 12 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns to lead Smithtown West (5-2). Jack Melore made six catches for 150 yards and a touchdown and Jacque Laprarie made two catches for 25 yards and one touchdown. He also had an interception. Dylan Philips had two rushing touchdowns for Smithtown West, which rushed for 118 yards. Brian Hope made 11 solo tackles and Martin Shook added seven tackles.
