iam Kershis rushed for 121 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns and caught six passes for 71 yards and two scores in Shoreham-Wading River’s 45-31 win over Mount Sinai in a Suffolk Division IV game on Friday. His 27-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter gave Shoreham-Wading River a 44-23 lead.
Dylan Zahn rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries and completed 22 of 30 passes for 298 yards and three touchdowns. His 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter opened the scoring.
After being tied at 17 at the half, Shoreham-Wading River (4-3) outscored Mt. Sinai 28-14 in the second half. Kieran Clifford made three catches for 99 yards and a touchdown.
Miller Place 36, Center Moriches 19: Michael Giugliano threw two touchdown passes as Miller Place (4-3) built a 36-0 lead through three quarters. Robby Cunningham caught a 22-yard TD pass in the first quarter and D.J. Williamson caught a 40-yard scoring pass late in the second quarter.
The other touchdowns came on a 4-yard run by Joe’ll Spagnuolo in the first quarter, a 62-yard punt return by Nick Oliva in the second quarter and a 3-yard run by Eddie Haeffer in the third.
Conor Planz threw two touchdown passes for Center Moriches (2-5). Matthew Albino had a 23-yard TD reception and a 24-yard scoring run.
Kings Park 42, Babylon 14: Kyle Weeks rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries and completed 3 of 5 passes for 31 yards. His touchdowns came from 1, 10, and 30 yards.
Mark Griffin rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on eight carries and recovered a fumble. His 11-yard touchdown in the second quarter gave Kings Park a 34-7 lead.
John Flynn had a 2-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and returned a kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown in the second for Kings Park (6-1).
Port Jefferson 28, Greenport 0: Anthony Pipia rushed for 115 yards on 12 carries and a 9-yard touchdown. Ryan Filipi completed five of eight passes for 100 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 20 yards on three carries.
Junior Beltran had eight carries for 54 yards and returned an interception 50 yards for a touchdown. Peter Poten had an interception for Port Jefferson (2-5).
