SUFFOLK I

Derek Glock had punt return touchdowns of 55 and 75 yards to lead host No. 1 Floyd to a 34-14 win over No. 8 Sachem East in the Suffolk Division I football quarterfinals on Saturday. Ja’Quan Thomas had nine carries for 147 yards and two TDs.

Jayden Johnson had eight tackles, including two for loss and a sack and Jake Rivera had six tackles, including four for loss and three sacks. David Gonzalez had 15 tackles. Floyd (9-0) will host No. 4 Longwood in the semifinals at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Ryan Lane ran for two TDs for Sachem East, which finished 3-6.

FRIDAY’S GAMES

Longwood 22, Whitman 14: Kyon Sarwari rushed for 100 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown in host No. 4 Longwood’s win over No. 5 Whitman. Ryan Green threw a 51-yard TD pass to Micah Laney in the second quarter and Craig Harty ran in the two-point conversion to give Longwood a 15-14 lead. Harty’s 10-yard TD run in the fourth quarter extended Longwood’s lead to eight points.

Kaden Reid and Tyler Lorentzen each had nine tackles. Nyyir Thomas had two sacks and Matt Reany added a sack for Longwood (5-4).

Mark Rutledge ran 28 times for 150 yards and two TDs for Whitman, which finished 5-4.

Sachem North 28, Lindenhurst 0: Luke LaRocca completed 16 of 22 passes for 313 yards and four touchdowns to lead host No. 3 Sachem North over No. 6 Lindenhurst. With 1,357 yards, LaRocca now holds Sachem North’s single-season passing yards record, according to coach Dave Caputo.

John Licata caught six passes for 138 yards and two scores and Henry Sarro had three catches for 119 yards and a TD. Jon Giraulo added a TD catch.

Sachem North (7-2) will visit No. 2 Ward Melville in the semifinals at 4 p.m. Friday. Lindenhurst finished 5-4.

Ward Melville 56, Brentwood 27: Hudson Philbrick completed 8 of 10 passes for 163 yards and two TDs and added seven carries for 95 yards and three TDs to lead host No. 2 Ward Melville over No. 7 Brentwood. Tony Gorsky ran for a TD and had a 42-yard pick-6. Joe Benedetto had 12 carries for 54 yards and a score and caught a 15-yard TD pass for Ward Melville (8-1).

Cris Peralta ran for two TDs for Brentwood (4-5). Julius Herrera ran for a TD and threw a 54-yard score to Malachi Baker.

SUFFOLK II

Greyson Cabrera ran for a 26-yard touchdown, caught TD passes of 4 and 55 yards and had an interception to lead host No. 4 Northport to a 28-21 win over No. 5 Bellport in the Suffolk Division II football quarterfinals on Saturday. Simon Blissett completed 12 of 19 passes for 253 yards and two TDs and Luke Loiacono added a TD run. Tommy Zarcone and Tristin Magro each had eight tackles. Shawn Aliperti added five tackles and a sack.

Northport (8-1) will visit No. 1 East Islip in the semifinals at 4 p.m. on Friday.

Cameron Casher ran for two TDs, including a 60-yard score for Bellport, which finished 5-4. Braydon Cipp added a TD run.

Half Hollow Hills East 59, Smithtown East 28: Daniel White rushed for 201 yards and two touchdowns and returned a kickoff 90 yards for a TD to lead host No. 2 Half Hollow Hills East over No. 7 Smithtown East. White had 401 all-purpose yards. Jayden Bryan ran for 210 yards and three TDs and added three tackles. Dante Milano had 10 tackles and two sacks and Alex Floropolus had five tackles and a sack.

Half Hollow Hills East (7-2) will host No. 3 Huntington in the semifinals at 4 p.m. on Friday.

Antonio Marrone had 22 rushes for 114 yards and a TD and threw for 274 yards and two TDs for Smithtown East (5-4). Jonathan Jean caught four passes for 136 yards and two scores.

FRIDAY’S GAME

East Islip 38, Connetquot 0: Jake Simmons had 25 carries for 188 yards and four touchdowns to lead host No. 1 East Islip over No. 8 Connetquot. Mikey Tramaglini had an interception and Dylan Bayer recovered a fumble forced by Andrew Arena.

AJ Ierardi added a 2-yard TD run and Chris Coreas made a 30-yard field goal and all five of his PATs for East Islip (8-1). Connetquot finished 3-6.

SUFFOLK III

Nick DeVito completed 9 of 15 passes for 253 yards and three touchdowns and added six carries for 110 yards to lead host No. 2 Smithtown West to a 48-18 win over No. 7 Comsewogue in the Suffolk Division III football quarterfinals Friday night.

Jake Rearick caught four passes for 133 yards and two TDs and Colton Ford added a 25-yard TD catch.

Michael Cascione had 17 carries for 145 yards and three scores. Joey Cantave ran seven times for 96 yards and a TD.

Smithtown West (7-2) will host the winner of No. 4 West Islip/No. 5 Hauppauge in the semifinals at 4 p.m. on Friday.

Nick Saladino and Jack Campagna each ran for a TD for Comsewogue, which finished 5-4.

Sayville 41, Westhampton 21: Patrick Coan completed 7 of 10 passes for 141 yards and three touchdowns and added nine carries for 124 yards and a TD to lead host No. 1 Sayville over No. 8 Westhampton.

Luke Neugebauer caught five passes for 158 yards and three TDs. Timmy Holahan rushed 15 times for 92 yards and a TD and Tristan Vitale had 10 carries for 78 yards and a score. Robert Hoss had two interceptions and six tackles.

Sayville (9-0) will host No. 6 East Hampton/Bridgehampton in the semifinals at 4 p.m. on Friday.

Nick Logelfo caught TD passes of 26, 44 and 70 yards from Pat Fay for Westhampton, which finished 2-7.

SUFFOLK IV

Dontae Spadaro had 32 carries for 361 yards and three TDs to lead Mount Sinai to a 59-34 home win over Shoreham-Wading River in the final game of the regular season Friday in Suffolk IV. Hunter Pancir had seven carries for 72 yards and two TDs for the Mustangs (7-2).

Noah Gregorek ran for a touchdown and threw TD passes of 8, 24 and 54 yards to Collin Abrams for Shoreham-Wading River (3-6).

Babylon 36, Hampton Bays 7: Aidan Winter had eight carries for 86 yards and a TD and threw a 30-yard TD pass to Jaiden Millner for host Babylon (9-0). Joe DiPalma ran for two TDs. Corey Dellefranca ran twice for 62 yards and a TD. Michael Single caught a 10-yard TD from Connor Bullinger for Hampton Bays (2-7).

Glenn 35, Center Moriches 0: Joe Competiello rushed for 154 yards and a TD and completed 10 of 14 passes for 205 yards and three scores for Glenn (6-3). Keith King rushed for 134 yards and a TD on eight carries and had 10 tackles. GJ Cook caught a TD pass and had 11 tackles and a sack. Center Moriches is 1-8.

SATURDAY'S GAME

Kings Park 49, Port Jefferson 0: Brandon Shapiro completed 10 of 11 passes for 239 yards and two TDs and rushed five times for 44 yards and a score for Kings Park (4-5). Matt Corrado caught four passes for 188 yards and two scores and had a rushing TD. Kevin Vasquez rushed for 87 yards and a TD. Gage McKigney had five tackles and four sacks. Port Jefferson is 0-9.
