Let the rating games begin. This is the first weekly installment of Zog’s Suffolk Top 10, mixing large and small schools, public and private. Chris Mascaro will be posting his Nassau Top 10 as well. Chris and I will also be blogging regularly about each county’s top players and top upcoming games.

Just so everyone is clear, these team rankings are strictly our opinion and are posted with the hope they will generate interest and conversation about high school football. They are not, repeat not, official, and have no bearing on the weekly coaches’ power ratings that determine both counties’ playoff seeds.
