After the first two weeks of the season, 13 Suffolk teams remain unbeaten – a dozen in Section XI plus St. Anthony’s in the CHSFL. Two games this weekend feature matchups of undefeated teams and they are among the five games to watch.

Division I
Connetquot (2-0) at Patchogue-Medford (1-1), Friday, 6 p.m. –
Mike Pellegrino (pictured) has exceeded 200 yards on the ground in each of Connetquot’s first two games and is a force on defense from his linebacker position. Will the Red Raiders have an answer?

Sachem North (2-0) at Brentwood (1-1), Saturday, 1:30 p.m. – The Flaming Arrows have lived up to their top-seeded billing so far, led by the running back/linebacker tandem of Jesse Scanna and Mike Andreassi. The Indians gave Connetquot a good game last week but might be overmatched.

Division II
Newfield (2-0) at East Islip (2-0), Saturday, 1:30 p.m. –
This is one of those two battles of the unbeatens and it could be a low-scoring affair. Newfield has allowed only eight points in the first two games while the Redmen always send out a solid defensive squad. EI’s Kevin Hutchinson is an emerging star.

Division III
Sayville (2-0) at Deer Park (2-0), Friday, 6 p.m. –
The other matchup of undefeated teams features top-seeded Sayville, with QB Steven Ferreira directing an explosive and balanced offense. The upstart Falcons are led by dangerous receiver/returner Ornob Chowdhury and running back Skylure Pannell.

Division IV
Bayport-Blue Point (2-0) at Hampton Bays (1-1), Friday, 7 p.m
The No. 1 Phantoms have pitched two straight shutouts to start the season, a 6-0 escape over Mt. Sinai and a 48-0 pasting of Post Jefferson. Hampton Bays, the fifth seed, struggled last week against Glenn.
