SUFFOLK I
Bay Shore 18, Riverhead 0: Cato Thomas ran 13 times for 121 yards and a touchdown, and Aiden Montford ran 16 times for 127 yards and a score to lead Bay Shore’s football team to an 18-0 road win over Riverhead Monday in Suffolk’s League I. It’s the first time Bay Shore has started a season 3-0 since 1986, according to Newsday records. Thomas forced two fumbles and had two sacks. Robby Kohl took seven carries for 27 yards and a score. Carter Wexelbaum, Evan Alvarez and Kenlove Louine all had a sack. Mike Sutch and Taylen Cole Jenkins had an interception. Riverhead is 0-3.
Floyd 42, Brentwood 21: Derek Glock caught five passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns of 46 and 66 yards off the arm of Matt Taiani in the first quarter to lift Floyd (2-1) to a home win. Glock also had an interception. Taiani completed 6 of 10 passes for 183 yards and three touchdowns. Davante Medlock ran eight times for 174 yards and two touchdowns, including a 73-yard score in the third quarter. Brooklyn Cox had 11 tackles and a sack. Christian Hobson caught a 28-yard touchdown pass and had a 40-yard pick-6. Rai Ferrer and Julius Herrera both ran for a touchdown for Brentwood (1-2). Jayden Lamarre recovered a fumble and returned it five yards for a score.
Sachem East 35, Central Islip 7: Brian Lopiccollo, Frankie Mercado, Alex Schneider, Cole Scavo and Jacob Mileto all ran for touchdowns for visiting Sachem East (2-1). Central Islip is 0-3.
SUFFOLK II
Northport 20, Lindenhurst 7: Gavin O’Brien completed 8 of 14 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns for host Northport (3-0). Tommy Zarcone caught a 66-yard touchdown pass and made eight tackles. Liam Cassidy and Charlie O’Brien both had six tackles and a sack. Lindenhurst is 0-3.
North Babylon 43, Bellport 18: Jack Miller rushed for 275 yards on 30 carries with four touchdowns for visiting North Babylon (2-1). He also had an interception. TJ Shaw scored two touchdowns for the Bulldogs, including a 76-yard fumble recovery and return for a score. Horace Smith threw for 160 yards and a touchdown for Bellport (0-3).
SUFFOLK III
East Hampton 34, Half Hollow Hills West 0: Jackson Ronick rushed for 62 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries to lead host East Hampton (1-2). Jack Kamimura rushed for 74 yards on 14 carries. Billy Stern completed eight passes for 63 yards and two TDs. Sam Boley caught three passes for 32 yards and a score. Wylie Stern had four tackles and two interceptions. Half Hollow Hills West fell to 1-2.
SUFFOLK IV
Glenn 42, Wyandanch 0: GJ Cook ran nine times for 110 yards and three touchdowns for host Glenn (3-1). Jayce Boyle-Summers caught all five of Jake Brocking’s completions for 67 yards and three touchdowns. Boyle-Summers also had an interception. Keith King added 12 rushes for 107 yards and a sack. Wyandanch is 1-2.
