SUFFOLK I

Kieran Hughes threw four touchdown passes and Patchogue-Medford rallied from a 10-point deficit by scoring the final 23 points to beat Brentwood, 29-16, in Suffolk Division I.

The Raiders (2-2) broke a 16-16 tie in the fourth quarter as Hughes threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to C.J. Forgione, his second TD catch, and a 30-yard TD pass to Jayden Isselbacher.

Brentwood (1-3) took a 7-6 lead on Malachi Baker’s 18-yard touchdown run and extended its lead in the second quarter when Chris Ayala returned a fumble 55 yards for a score and Joshua Almendarez made a 29-yard field goal.

The Pat-Med comeback started with a 45-yard touchdown pass from Hughes to Justin Marcia-Joachim to make it 16-14 at the half.

The Raiders tied it in the third quarter when Anthony Jean-Baptiste made a tackle in the end zone for a safety.

Hughes threw for 220 yards and Marcia-Joachim had three catches for 115 yards.

Jesse Andrade had 10 tackles and Alex Hofmann had a sack, a fumble recovery and three tackles for a loss for Patchogue-Medford.

Whitman 29, Central Islip 22: Cameron Carlson rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. His 4-yard run in the first quarter gave Whitman a 13-0 lead and his 3-yard score in the third extended the lead to 21-8.

Ryan Boutin gave Whitman a 28-14 lead later in the third with a 16-yard rushing touchdown. Boutin ran for 102 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries for Whitman (2-2).

Sachem East 35, Bay Shore 13: Gino LaRotonda rushed for three touchdowns to lead Sachem East. He scored the second of his three touchdowns in the second quarter and Jack Pickersgill returned an interception for a touchdown on the ensuing possession for Sachem East (2-2).

LaRotonda’s final touchdown came on a 42-yard run in the third quarter.

Ward Melville 60, Sachem North 26: Andrew Belli scored five touchdowns — three recieving and two rushing — to lead Ward Melville.

Nick Gaffney caught a 25-yard touchdown in the second quarter and broke off a 47-yard rushing score in the third quarter.

Brody Morgan had a 65-yard touchdown reception to open the scoring and Max Behar had a 43-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Anthony Vino threw two touchdowns and had a rushing touchdown for Ward Melville (3-1).

Commack 35, Riverhead 7: Jeremy Weiss completed 8 of 14 passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns.

Jake McKay had 12 carries for 96 yards and a touchdown. He also had an interception.

Gavin Rothschild had six carries for 118 yards and a touchdown run for Commack (2-2).

Andrew Riggs had four receptions for 131 yards and two touchdowns and an interception.

Joon Choi had 10 tackles including two for loss and Jackson Pellegrino had nine tackles with three for loss.

SUFFOLK II

Huntington’s Joe Algieri had the winning tackle to prevent a potential go-ahead two-point conversion rushing attempt in overtime in its 15-14 victory over Centereach in Suffolk Division II. Algieri had 12 tackles and two sacks.

Logan Poppe connected with Drab Riddick for a 6-yard TD pass to bring Centereach within 15-14. Timmy McDonald, who rushed for 80 yards on 12 carries, had the go-ahead 10-yard TD in overtime to break a tie at 8 for Huntington (1-3).

Riddick had a 15-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth to tie the score and force overtime.

Mikey Kline had three carries for 30 yards and a 25-yard touchdown in the third quarter for Huntington. McDonald’s two-point conversion run on Kline’s score extended the lead to 8-0.

Connetquot 13, Smithtown East 7: Tyler McCarthy ran for 151 yards, including a 65-yard touchdown to lead Connetquot. McCarthy added a 27-yard run on a fake punt and had two pass breakups.

Nick Pepitone threw for 130 yards and ran for 55 yards and a touchdown. Pepitone rushed for a 5-yard TD in the first quarter and McCarthy scored in the third. Ryan Rooney had a 2-yard TD run for Smithtown East in the fourth.

Lucas Weaver had nine tackles (four for a loss), and Gio DeRenzo had nine tackles (two for a loss). Connetquot (2-2) tallied four sacks.

Half Hollow Hills East 29, Newfield 8: Jovanny Brown scored three touchdowns to lead Half Hollow Hills East. Brown had 67 rushing yards and a score and added 50 receiving yards and a score. Brown also threw a 25-yard touchdown pass andmade seven tackles.

Nigel Clay rushed for 101 yards, and had nine tackles. Josh Issac ran for 47 yards and a score, and added 10 tackles and a sack. Alex Cruz had nine tackles and Max Kulberg had seven tackles for Hills East (2-2).

West Babylon 49, Copiague 8: Elijah Outlaw completed 8 of 13 passes for 190 yards and four touchdowns, and had three carries for 41 yards and a touchdown to lead West Babylon. Kendrick Mohan added five carries for 120 yards and a score and Sean McGuire added four receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. Mohan also had eight tackles for West Babylon (2-2).

SUFFOLK III

Ryan Parker scored four touchdowns in East Islip’s 48-20 win over Deer Park in Suffolk III. He ran for 117 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries and caught three passes for 133 yards and three touchdowns. He opened the scoring with a 36-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and then caught touchdown passes of 62, 34 and 37 yards. K.J. Scholl completed 5 of 6 passes for 188 yards and three touchdowns. Thomas Costarelli ran for 88 yards and a TD. James Sturek made 11 tackles for East Islip (3-1).  

Westhampton 34, Islip 13: Brody Schaffer had 17 carries for 175 yards and two touchdowns to lead Westhampton (4-0). Gianni Amodemo had a 30-yard interception return touchdown to close out the first half. Aidan McDermott had seven tackles. Jordyn Brown, Andrew Mensch and Noah Hebberd each had a sack in the game. Brown also had a 10-yard touchdown reception. Will Gambino completed 8 of 10 passes for 85 yards and a touchdown. Kaiden Lewis scored two TDs for Islip (1-3).

Sayville 42, Comsewogue 7: Kyle Messina rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries. His touchdowns came from 3, 1 and 12 yards. His 12-yarder in the second quarter gave Sayville a 27-0 lead. Jake Tripptree completed 11 of 14 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns (42, 30 and 31 yards). Anthony Morrione caught six passes for 131 yards and Benny Sands caught touchdown passes of 42 and 30 yards. Joey Byrne had two sacks for Sayville (4-0).

Hauppauge 34, East Hampton 6: Jojo Provenzano had 25 carries for 263 yards and four touchdowns, including a 61-yard run for Hauppauge (3-1). Provenzano added two sacks and Brandon Mileti had eight tackles, including two for a loss and a forced fumble.

Rocky Point 42, Eastport-South Manor 0: Jeremy Graham threw a touchdown and had a rushing TD to lead Rocky Point (3-1). Joey Cecere ran for 140 yards and two TDs on 14 carries. Viggiano had a 36-yard receiving touchdown and returned a blocked punt 28 yards for a touchdown. Liam Reisinger returned a punt for a 42-yard TD.

Half Hollow Hills West 35, Amityville 0: Joseph Filardi threw for 178 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 53 yards and a touchdown to lead Half Hollow Hills West (4-0). Jesse Brooks had two receiving touchdowns and an interception on defense. Jalyn Jacques had a 45-yard receiving TD.

Harborfields 49, Wyandanch 6: Shane Longin threw two TD passes. His 37-yarder to Sean Tucker opened the scoring in the first quarter. Declan McCarthy returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown.

SUFFOLK IV

Chris Franzese rushed for 297 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries in Glenn’s 34-14 win over Babylon in Suffolk Division IV. Franzese also had an interception on defense. Kahran King had 45 rushing yards, ran in two touchdowns and had a 12-yard reception. Mario Bento made 10 tackles for Glenn (3-1).

Center Moriches 34, Port Jefferson 14: Matthew Albino ran for 163 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. His 40-yard touchdown in the third quarter gave Center Moriches a 32-7 lead. Gavin Kleine completed 8 of 13 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown. Xavier Bryant made three catches for 46 yards and had an interception on defense. Jordan Lutz had two sacks for Center Moriches (2-2).

Miller Place 38, Mount Sinai 7: Joe’ll Spagnuolo ran for 225 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries and Michael Giugliano threw two touchdowns and ran for a 75-yard score to lead Miller Place (1-3). DJ Williamson caught a 31-yard touchdown and Nick Oliva had a 15-yard touchdown reception, kicked a 32-yard field goal and was 5-for-5 on extra points.

Shoreham-Wading River 49, Greenport 0: Liam Kershis rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns (36, 25, 12 yards) in the first half. Dylan Zahn threw a 64-yard touchdown pass to Kieran Clifford to open the scoring for Shoreham-Wading River (3-1). Ryan Wilson recovered a blocked punt in the end zone in the second quarter to give the Wildcats a 34-0 lead.
