Senior Taylor Moreno, easily spotted by a braid of hair that hangs from her helmet, is the only girl to play Varsity Football in the history of Huntington High School, serving as the field goal kicker. Huntington High School senior Taylor Moreno

Huntington High School senior Taylor Moreno serves as the field goal kicker for the Varsity Football team, the first female student to do so in the school's history. She's also a co-captain of the girls soccer team, the goalie for the girls lacrosse team and performs the triple jump for the track team. She'll be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall. (Sept. 25, 2015)
