William Jacobs' 22-yard touchdown in fourth quarter seals it for Uniondale

William Jacobs' 22-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter sealed Uniondale's 31-22 win Saturday over Hempstead in Nassau I.
Talek Butler had a 25-yard touchdown run and 19-yard interception return for a score in the second quarter to give Uniondale (1-5) a 14-6 lead.
Joset Shackleton added a 38-yard field goal to cap the first-half scoring and put the Knights up 17-6. Darius Meadors' second score, a 17-yard touchdown run with 4:21 left in the third quarter, pulled Hempstead within 24-22.
Freeport 21, Baldwin 6: Davelle Hooks completed 9 of 11 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown and ran for 21 yards and a score to lead Freeport (4-2). Hooks' 25-yard TD pass to Myles Eason on a post route gave the Red Devils a 14-6 lead with 10 seconds left in the second quarter. D'Monte Woody ran for 113 yards and a touchdown. Defensive end JaSheem Martin had seven tackles and two sacks and middle linebacker Jameel Lamont made six tackles.
Syosset 23, Plainview JFK 0: Nick Hatzipetrakos had three receptions for 87 yards and returned a punt 35 yards for a touchdown to lead Syosset (4-2). Anthony Cachietta ran for a 3-yard score that gave Syosset a 10-0 halftime lead and also had one of the Braves' three interceptions. Quarterback Joe Majoy threw for 65 yards and also ran for 16 yards and a touchdown. Manraj Singh led a balanced rushing attack with 46 yards on nine carries. Plainview JFK is 2-4.
East Meadow 43, Hicksville 0: John Wilson ran for 180 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries to lead East Meadow (3-3). Nick Conti capped an eight-play, 70-yard drive with an 8-yard touchdown run off a toss in the first quarter. Jed Puk-Silverstein led East Meadow with seven tackles and a sack. Anthony Love, a freshman in his second varsity game, ran for two TDs and 38 yards on six carries.
Farmingdale 47, Valley Stream Central 0: Curtis Jenkins had 122 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries to lead Farmingdale (6-0) on Friday night. Vinny Quinn was 5-for-7 for 62 yards and a touchdown and ran for 19 and two touchdowns. Styvenson Hogarth ran six times for 33 yards and a touchdown. Tom Kennedy had three receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown. Valley Stream Central is 2-4.
