Unique Ford had 12 points, including a layup off a steal with 12 seconds left to lift West Babylon to a 52-50 win over Bellport in a Suffolk League IV boys basketball game Wednesday.

Mike Richardson had 21 points and Tori Penn scored 17 points for West Babylon (2-0). Bellport had a chance to tie or win the game on its ensuing possession, but West Babylon's Gaetano Innamorato stole the inbound pass with two seconds left.

Uniondale 67, Oceanside 52: Kenny Woodard had 13 points, 15 rebounds, five steals, four blocks, and three assists to lead Uniondale (3-0) in Nassau Conference AA-1. Shaquille Mosley had 24 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.

Great Neck South 48, Bellmore JFK 45: Jay Lee had seven of his 11 points in the fourth quarter to help Great Neck South (2-1) hold on in Conference AA-II. Dan Belmont, Josh Garfinkel and Mitchel Finkel each had 10 points in the win.

Floral Park 70, Manhasset 68: Lloyd Wheeler had 26 points and five assists for Floral Park (1-1) in Conference A-III. Mikey Graham had 22 points for Manhasset (1-2).

North Shore 59, Island Trees 48: Justin Bell had 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead North Shore (4-2) in Conference A-IV. Max Reiger had seven of his 11 points during a 19-5 third quarter as the Vikings built a 20-point lead.

Roosevelt 64, Valley Stream North 44: Khalil Wilson had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead Roosevelt (2-0) in Conference A-IV.

Bridgehampton 81, Smithtown Christian 52: Caanan Campbell had 31 points and nine rebounds to lift Bridgehampton (1-1) in League VIII. Jason Hopson had 26 points, and Tylik Furman scored 19 points for Bridgehampton.

Pierson 45, Shelter Island 41: Ian Barrett had 14 points and six assists to lead Pierson (2-0) in League VIII.

Lawrence Woodmere Academy 64, Kew Forest 50: Jake Lundenberg had 19 points for LWA (4-0) in PSAA.

Valley Stream South 62, Division 45: Dana King scored 14 of his 24 points in the second half for Valley Stream South (3-4) in non-league.

Our Savior New American 85, Upper Room 57: Chris Obekpa had eight points, 13 rebounds and 10 blocks and Felix Balamou had 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists to lead Our Savior New American (10-0) in non-league.

Kellenberg 63, St. Anthony's 59: Kevin Bowles had 19 points and 14 rebounds to lead Kellenberg (8-1) in CHSAA on Tuesday. Bowles hit five free throws in the final two minutes to seal the win for the Firebirds. Jeremy Arthur added 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the win.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Massapequa 64, Freeport 54: Danielle Doherty had 14 points, six assists and four steals to lead Massapequa (3-0) in Conference AA-1.

North Shore 67, Island Trees 55: Freshman Alexandra Cantwell had a career-high 16 points and added 11 rebounds to lead North Shore (3-0) in Conference IV.

Sachem East 64, Patchogue-Medford 35: Meagan Doherty had 22 points and went 5-for-8 from three-point range to lead Sachem East (2-0) in Suffolk League I.

West Hempstead 42, Valley Stream South 37: Jackie Christenson scored 10 of her 14 points in the fourth quarter to lead West Hempstead (1-1) in Conference A-III. Nicole Christenson scored 10 points.

BOYS SWIMMING

Sachem East 96, Huntington 90: Cameron Byrne won the 100-yard freestyle in 0:52.21 and Bryan Link took first in the 50 freestyle in 0:25.26 to lead Sachem East (2-0) in Suffolk League II.

West Islip 55, North Babylon 45: Chris Whalen won the 200-yard IM (2:17) and 100-yard freestyle (53.02) and Patrick Carter (202.50) and Connor Appel (189.62) finished first and second in the 1-meter dive for West Islip (1-2) in League II.

GIRLS FENCING

Garden City 22, Wheatley 5: Casey Grippo went 2-0 in sabre and Julia Cupolo went 2-0 in foil to lead Garden City (6-1).

Great Neck North 14, Jericho 13:Kristine Chen finished 3-0 in sabre and Nicole Friedman went 3-0 in foil for Great Neck North (4-1).
