Gabby Lewin scores OT game-winner for Bellmore JFK
Gabby Lewin scored the game-winner in the first minute of overtime to lead Bellmore JFK over Sewanhaka, 8-7, in a non-league girls lacrosse game yesterday.
Rose Mehani had three goals and tied the score at 7 with two minutes remaining in regulation to force overtime for Bellmore JFK. Nicolina Torthia also recorded three goals. Goalkeeper Nicole Khouryowav had 12 saves.
Cold Spring Harbor 9, Harborfields 8: Kate Kotowski scored her sixth goal with 14:08 left to break a tie at 8 and lead Cold Spring Harbor (5-1) in non-league.
Clarke 13, Jericho 10: Maddie Seims had seven goals and an assist and Amanda Seims had four goals and an assist to lead Clarke (2-2) in Nassau III.
Glen Cove 13, Wheatley 12: Tristyn Hudson scored her fifth goal of the game with 1:53 remaining in regulation to break a tie at 12 and lead Glen Cove (1-1) in Nassau V. Alyssa Zangari also scored five goals for Glen Cove.
Longwood 10, Brentwood 9: Hannah Fernandes scored the game-winning goal with 1:32 remaining to lead Longwood (1-1) in Suffolk I. Jessie Biegel and Christen Lapple had three goals apiece. Shyla Murray scored four goals for Brentwood and tied the score at 9 with 1:48 to go. Longwood goalkeeper Brittany Weekes recorded 10 saves.
Sacred Heart 11, Kellenberg 10: Isabel Grant scored three goals, including the game-winner with 2:09 remaining to lead Sacred Heart (2-1) in CHSAA. Arden Tierney had four goals and tied the score at 10 with 3:20 to go. Maggie Casey added three goals and one assist. Goalkeeper Daniela Stelcer had four saves.

Mount Sinai 7, Comsewogue 6: Jason Schlonski (2 goals) scored the winner with 6:48 left for Mount Sinai (2-0) in Suffolk II. RJ Maher had three goals, and Joe Pirecca (2 assists) scored the tying goal with 8:56 remaining. Matt Sageder made nine saves in the win.

Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 4, Jericho 3: Ethan Treihaft and Sam Weissman defeated Warren Wang and Jayson Flum, 1-6, 6-1, 7-6 (2), in the deciding match at third doubles to lead Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (1-1) in Nassau I.
BOYS VOLLEYBALLKellenberg 3, St. Anthony’s 1: Aiden McManaman had 25 kills and four aces to lead Kellenberg in a 25-20, 25-23, 19-25, 25-17 CHSAA win. Nick D’Amato tallied 48 assists for Kellenberg (4-1).
GIRLS GOLFSayville 9, Deer Park 0: Ceili Howland shot a 6-over 33 at Heartland Golf Course to lead Sayville (4-0) in Suffolk III.
GIRLS BADMINTONSmithtown East 6, Stony Brook 3: Sisters Juneve and Bella Porciello defeated Nancy Man and Lisa Ho in first doubles, 15-11, 15-10, to lead Smithtown East (4-2) in Suffolk I. Mikayla Kolahifar and Lauren Godberson beat Lily Ho and Tina Zhu in second doubles, 15-13, 13-15, 15-10.
