Senior Andrea Desvignes scored 15 points, including the 1,000th of her career for Deer Park in a 53-37 win over Comsewogue Tuesday in a Suffolk League IV girls basketball game.

Desvignes has 1,001 points and became the first Falcon to reach the milestone when she hit a pull-up jumper with 2:30 left in the third quarter. She added seven steals and six assists. Junior Nicole Gomez added a career-high 16 points and eight rebounds for Deer Park (1-1).

Floral Park 58, Manhasset 50: Eighth-grader Kaela Hilaire had 24 points, including 11 during a 23-12 fourth quarter for Floral Park (2-0) in Nassau Conference A-III. Hilaire added eight assists and freshman Lorraine Hickman chipped in 13 points and nine assists.

Seaford 42, Jericho 40: Jessica Rini had 23 points and 16 rebounds to lead Seaford (1-1) in Conference A-IV. Carolin Lostrappo added five assists and five steals and Desire Fowlkes (four points) hit a layup with two minutes left to give Seaford a 42-34 lead.BOYS BASKETBALL

Mepham 62, Carey 56: Kyle Wechsler scored 11 of his 28 points in overtime to lead Mepham (2-1) in Conference AA-III. Adrian Denner had 16 points, 14 rebounds and 11 blocked shots for Carey.Floyd 66, Longwood 64: Freshman Devonte Dixon had a career-high 19 points, including a layup with 22 seconds left in the game to win it for Floyd (2-0) in Suffolk League I. Anthony White had 15 points, including a putback that tied the score at 64 for Floyd with 31 seconds left.BOYS BOWLING

Sayville 3, Bayport-Blue Point 0: Senior Steve DelGaudio bowled a career-high 290 in Game 2 of a 616 series to lead Sayville in a 888-781, 1038-707, 812-779 League IV win.

Eastport-South Manor 3, Mount Sinai 0: Doug Pinelli had a 279 in Game 2 of a 688 series to lead Eastport-South Manor in a 920-796, 1,028-873, 914-900 win in League V.GIRLS BOWLING

Commack 3, Patchogue-Medford 0: Kim Curreri rolled a 256 in Game 1 of a 653 series to lead Commack in a 1,000-859, 896-873, 916-845 League I win. Jessica Calandra had a 732 series for Patchogue-Medford.

East Islip 3, Bay Shore 0: Nancy Baione bowled a 235 in Game 1 of a 633 series and Jordan Kruger had a 244 in Game 2 of a 631 series for East Islip in a 1,006-693, 1,021-660, 951-614 League II win.
