The 3 Stars for Saturday 2/25:
Senior Melodee Riley (above) had a career-high 28 points to lead No. 3 Riverhead to a 66-51 win over No. 2 Lindenhurst in the Suffolk Class AA semifinals.
Lindsay Alfano had 14 points, including a 3-pointer with 43 seconds left to put No. 4 Hauppauge ahead by three and the Eagles held on to defeat No. 1 Sachem East 47-45 in the Suffolk Class AA semifinals.
Allison McKenna had 15 points and 11 rebounds as No. 1 Glenn defeated No. 2 Harborfields 47-45 in the Suffolk Class A championship.
