Shelter Island girls fall in regional

Kelsey McGayhey had 14 points in the final game of her career for Shelter Island, which was defeated by Livington Manor 58-31 in the Class D girls basketball Southeast Regional Final Saturday afternoon at Farmingdale State. Livingston Manor (12-8) advances to the state semifinals while Shelter Island finishes the season 12-6.
