Jenna Annecchiarico, Baldwin, G, 5-5, Jr.

Lightning quick with the ball, Annecchiarico is the facilitator of a fast Bruins offense looking to put up points.

Gabby Aspuru, Sachem East, G, 6-0, Sr.

A do-it-all floor general with unmatched length and athleticism who averaged 12 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game last season.

Maryann Bagonis, Mepham, F, 5-6, Jr.

A proficient outside shooter who hit 39 three-pointers last year. She has received interest from Division I and II colleges according to coach Jim Mulvey.

Kadaja Bailey, St. Mary’s, G, 6-0, Jr.

Bailey scores from anywhere on the floor. Verbally committed to St. John's, she's also an excellent passer.

Jamie Behar, Oceanside, F, 6-2, Fr.

Behar scored 11.7 points as an eighth grader and figures to take on a larger role in the offense. She's a versatile forward who can shoot and handle the ball.

Grace Brady, Glen Cove, F, 6-3, Sr.

Brady is a threat to post a double-double on any given night. She had 24 points, 21 rebounds and 20 blocks in a loss against North Shore last season.

Danielle Cosgrove, Sachem East, F/C, 6-4, Jr.

A double-double machine who can step outside and shoot, Cosgrove is ranked 48th among juniors and eighth at her position by ESPN HoopGurlz.

Emma Cuccurullo, Long Island Lutheran, 5-10, F, Jr.

Cuccurullo runs the floor well and boasts an improved mid-range jumper. She's the type of player who creates opportunities for her teammates.

Christiana de Borja, Harborfields, G, 5-5, Sr.

One of the top point guards on Long Island she is a four-year starter and is equal parts scorer and facilitator.

Alessia Drevnyak, East Rockaway, C, 6-1, Sr.

Expected to be the Rocks' leading scorer and rebounder, Drevnyak is a reliable post player who is has been shown interest by a number of schools, according to coach Karin Leary.

Liz Dwyer, Mattituck, G, 5-9, Jr.

Dwyer has the ability to work a defender and get to the basket. Overall, she has an impressive inside-outside game.

Amani Free, Long Island Lutheran, G/F, 5-11, Jr.

A transfer from Cicero-North Syracuse High School, Free is a lockdown defender who efficiently grabs offensive rebounds and hits open jumpers.

Nora Gabel, Comsewogue, G, 5-9, Jr.

Prolific at attacking the basket, drawing fouls, running the break and playing strong defense. She was a top-five scorer in Suffolk last year.

Gianna Gotti, Oyster Bay, G, 5-5, Jr.

One of Long Island's best all-around scorers. She can beat you with jumpers or she can take you off the dribble.

Lauren Hackett, St. Anthony’s, G, 5-5, Jr.

Hackett plays unselfishly as a true point guard with great vision. She has the speed to drive past defenders and can shoot from deep.

Lauren Hansen, Ward Melville, G/F, 5-8, Soph.

Potentially one of the top point guards on Long Island, but she missed last season because of ankle surgery. Florida, Ohio State and others are recruiting her, according to coach Bruce Haller.

Tori Harris, Half Hollow Hills West, G/F, 6-0, Sr.

A forward with guard skills already signed with James Madison University. The sister of Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris, she's a prolific scorer, defender and ballhandler.

Kaia Harrison, Baldwin, G, 5-6, Soph.

The point guard has a high motor and plays stingy defense. She's a true floor general who orchestrates a sound offense.

Ty’Zhea Hawkins, Brentwood, G, 5-5, Jr.

Unlimited shooting range makes Hawkins one of Suffolk's most lethal scorers. She can also attack the basket.

Casey Hearns, Commack, G, 5-8, Jr.

The two-year starter uses her quickness as a weapon on offense and defense. When defenders give her space to prepare for her speed, she uses a consistent jumper.

Natalie Hickman, Floral Park, F, 6-0, Sr.

A forward who is comfortable stepping outside and shooting threes. Hickman is also a capable post player.

Aziah Hudson, Baldwin, G, 5-6, Jr.

Owner of the most explosive first step on Long Island, Hudson has college offers on the table from Kansas, Stony Brook, Hofstra and others, according to coach Tom Catapano.

Destiny Hurt, Sewanhaka, G/F, 5-8, Sr.

Hurt is a natural scorer who worked to improve her outside game this summer. She's also a tough, physical defender.

Annie Keenan, Sachem North, F, 5-11, Jr.

Keenan is expected to be the team's leading scorer because of her versatile talents. She's a speedy forward who can shoot threes and go to the basket.

Allie LaMonica, Wheatley, G, 5-3, Sr.

The five-year varsity player is a scoring point guard with great court vision and intelligence. She began the season with 853 varsity points.

Courtney Lewis, Port Jefferson, G/F, 5-8, Sr.

Standout scorer who eclipsed the 1,500-point mark on Dec. 5 with a 22-point effort against Comsewogue.

Dajaih Martin, St. Mary’s, F, 6-0, Sr.

Rebounding and scoring inside are Martin's specialties. She has signed to play with St. Peter's College.

Maia Moffitt, St. Anthony’s, G, 5-8, Sr.

A do-it-all talent who has signed to play at the University of Rhode Island, she's dynamic inside and outside and is nearly unstoppable driving to the basket.

Kerrin Montgomery, Lynbrook, F/C, 5-11, Sr.

Montgomery uses a polished game down low to score, and she averaged 19.4 points per game last season. She's committed to SUNY Geneseo.

Katie Murphy, Hauppauge, G, 5-8, Sr.

The point guard is a nonstop defender who is quick enough to break a press from the opposing defense. She has a consistent mid-range jumper.

Kem Nwabudu, Elmont, F/C, 5-11, Jr.

She led the team in scoring and rebounding last year and could so again. She can step back and shoot near the arc despite her dominance in the paint.

Victoria Pearce, Bay Shore, G, 5-8, Sr.

Quick hands and quick feet make Pearce a nightmare as a defender. She's great in transition and at driving to the basket.

K’anndra Rhoden, Brentwood, G, 5-4, Sr.

Rhoden is the floor general who works hard on both ends of the court and plays with high energy on the defensive end.

Samantha Schultz, Kings Park, G, 5-11, Jr.

The shooting guard is a dynamic slasher who can also shoot from anywhere on the floor. She has received an offer from UMass-Lowell, according to coach Tom Edmundson.

Ashleigh Sheerin, North Shore, G, 5-10, Sr.

Sheerin is one of the top athletes in Nassau. Her best assets are her speed and jumping ability, two attributes constantly on display in her game.

Emily Shurina, East Meadow, G/F, 5-9, Jr.

A double-double machine capable of scoring at will from nearly everywhere on the floor.

Tiffany Slicklein, Kings Park, F, 5-10, Sr.

An all-around player capable of doing a little of everything for the Kingsmen. She is signed to play at Central Connecticut State.

Jillian Spagnuola, Commack, G, 5-3, Sr.

The point guard has good speed and a useful pull-up jumper, and coach Denis Conroy said she's being recruited by Boston's Suffolk University, Muhlenberg and SUNY Cortland.

Morgan Staab, Kellenberg, C, 6-0, Sr.

A strong post player with an improved outside shot makes a Staab a weapon in the CHSAA. She'll play basketball at Adelphi.

Grace Stone, Long Island Lutheran, 5-10, G, Jr.

With a quick first step and consistent jumper, Stone is tough to defend. Her list of offers includes Princeton, Harvard, Virginia and Wisconsin, according to coach Rich Slater.

Celeste Taylor, Long Island Lutheran, G, 5-10, Soph.

Taylor can attack the basket and face-guard just about anyone. She has been extended offers from schools in the ACC, Big Ten and SEC, according to coach Rich Slater.

Chanel Taylor, Central Islip, G, 5-7, Sr.

An above-average shooter and defender, Taylor is among the top two-way players in Suffolk.

Jourdin Thomas, South Side, G, 5-6, Sr.

An aggressive defender and ball-handler. Coach Dan Ferrick said is considering offers to attend West Point, University of Chicago and NYU.

Maya Thomas, Freeport, G, 5-6, Sr.

Averaged 13.8 points per game last season and is expected to assume a larger role in the offense this year.

Zhaneia Thybulle, Elmont, G, 5-5, Jr.

Her lightning quickness gets her easy points in transition. Her defense is up there with the county's best.

Taylor Tripptree, Ward Melville, G, 5-8, Sr.

She averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds and five assists last season. She plays all five positions well.

Zorria West, Longwood, F, 5-10, Sr.

West averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds per game last season because of her work in transition and beyond the arc.

Jasmine White, St. Anthony’s, F, 6-2, Sr.

White is solid on offense but makes her mark defensively in the inside. The LaSalle signee is a top-tier rebounder.

Anna Zaborowska, Copiague, G/F, 5-8, Sr.

A sharp shooter on a team that will rely on her to score. She is fielding offers from several colleges.

Gabby Zaffiro, North Shore, G, 5-9, Jr.

A returning member of Newsday's All-Long Island team, Zaffiro is one of the best scorers on the island. She's a pure shooter and finisher near the basket.
