LI Player of the Year
Massapequa, senior

New York State Class AA player of the year dominated the midfield, winning headers and keeping the ball firmly in possession of the state champs. Scored the go-ahead goal in the Long Island Championship.

ARIANA ASTON
Suffolk Player of the Year
St. Anthony's, senior

The Boston University bound defender was the best player on Suffolk’s best team and the anchor of a dominant Friar defense that had 12 shutouts and allowed eight goals in 19 games.

KATIE HYLAND
Islip

senior, Forward
Scored 15 of Islip’s 24 goals and assisted on five others to earn first-team all-state honors and the Suffolk Class A player of the year.

ALYSSA GUTIERREZ
Sachem East

Senior, goalie
Recorded 12 shutouts, including seven straight to end the regular season, to earn large school goalkeeper of the year and a first-team all-state nod.

CARRI ROCCARO
East Islip

junior, defense/midfield
Her seven goals and five assists are more impressive knowing she split time as a defender. Earned a spot on first-team all-state and was named Suffolk Class AA player of the year.

JILL MULHOLLAND
MacArthur

junior, forward
Second in Nassau with 29 points and second with 23 goals, Mulholland racked up eight multi-point games, leading her team to the Class AA semifinals.

EMMALEE MEYER
Massapequa

sophomore, goalie
She made 67 saves and allowed just four goals for the Chiefs. Meyer started each playoff game in net and posted seven solo shutouts.

BARBARA SULLIVAN
Garden City

senior, forward
The co-captain had 18 goals and 11 assists. She scored the tying goal in the Class A State championship game, which the Trojans won in overtime.

MICHELE DAUBMAN
Plainedge

senior, forward
First in Nassau with 35 points (19 goals), Daubman had 10 multi-point games including four goals and one assist against Division on Oct. 8.

North Babylon

Led Suffolk Class AA with 13 assists and tied for second with 13 goals, for a county best 26 points and a spot on first team all-state.

DARIANN SELLITTI
Sayville

senior, forward
First team all-state selection led Suffolk Class A in goals (20) and assists (13) and led Sayville to a county championship.

MEREDITH SPECK
Sacred Heart

Speck scored 10 goals and had nine assists (five multi-point games) on her way to being voted MVP of the CHSAA.
