LONG ISLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR: CARI ROCCARO

The resume continues to grow for the Notre Dame-bound Roccaro, who was named Newsday's girls soccer Player of the Year. With the perfect combination of size, speed and skill, Roccaro - who had 11 goals and three assists - made first team All-Long Island for the third time in her high school career and was named an NSCAA All-American for the second straight season.

East Islip's Cari Roccaro was named an NSCAA Youth All-American on Thursday. The Notre Dame-bound midfielder is one of eight players to repeat as a Youth AA, the full list of all 40 players chosen can be seen here.

Roccaro was already named an NSCAA High School All-American this season.
