ANNIE PARK
Golfer of the Year
Division/MacArthur, junior
Park became the first girl to win the Nassau boys golf championship, breaking the county scoring record by six strokes with an 8-under 134 for the two-day tournament at Bethpage State Park. Park defeated a field of 134 golfers, 133 of whom were boys. She has already earned a full golf scholarship to the University of Southern California.

TINA CHANG
Girls Golfer of the Year
St. Anthony's, senior
After finishing second in the CHSAA championship, Chang shot a 7-over 79 at Eisenhower White to win the first CHSAA state title of her career. Chang was the only golfer to shoot under 80. She will be golfing for the College of William & Mary in the fall.

ELIZABETH CHOI
Syosset, freshman
Choi won the Nassau individual championship with a two-day score of 154 to win by five strokes. The freshman also took fourth place in the state championship with a score of 150 at SUNY Delhi.

MICHAEL MIRANDA
Middle Country, junior
Miranda scored an eagle 3 on the par-5 15th hole at Indian Island Country Club in Riverhead on his way to clinching the Suffolk title, shooting an even-par 144 over the two-day tournament.

MARK REILLY
St. John the Baptist, junior
After shooting a one-over 73 at Eisenhower Red, Reilly birdied a par-5 playoff hole to win the CHSAA individual championship. The junior also finished second in the CHSAA state tournament and fourth in the state Federation championship.

KRISSY UNGER
Northport, senior
Unger won her second straight Suffolk title, finishing with a 36-hole score of 156 at Sunken Meadow Park to win by seven strokes. She followed up her win with a third-place finish in the state tournament, shooting a two-round 150 at SUNY Delhi. She will be golfing for Quinnipiac in the fall.

Boys golf Coach of the Year
St. Anthony's
Coached St. Anthony’s to its first CHSAA championship since 2007, edging out four-time defending champion Chaminade, 378-384, in the team tournament.

BOB WOODS
Girls golf Coach of the Year
Smithtown East
Coached Smithtown East to its first Long Island Championship in program history, winning 437-447 over Garden City Maroon. Smithtown East went undefeated for the second straight year and won its second consecutive Suffolk title with a county-record score of 882.
