Danny DeSilva, Syosset, hockey: He stopped 34 of 35 shots to lead the Braves past Bellmore-Merrick, 2-1, Sunday in a semifinal playoff game.
Brian Hurley, Oceanside, hockey: He scored the winning goal for the Sailors with 31 seconds remaining in the third period of a 6-5 semifinal victory over Lynbrook.
Alexis Fraher, Bethpage, girls gymnastics: She had a team-high all-around score of 35.150 to lead Bethpage to the Nassau team championship over Plainview JFK.
Stew Warren, Lindenhurst, boys basketball: He scored 32 points with a career-high 25 rebounds and five steals in a 65-61 victory over Connetquot.
Marc Godlis, Friends, boys basketball: He tied his career high with 25 points and added nine rebounds and nine assists in a 48-40 victory over Locust Valley.
Chastity Taylor, St. Anthony's, girls basketball: She had 19 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and four steals in a 49-48 upset of Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, Md.) in the Mecca Challenge at the Gauchos Gym in the Bronx.
Jonathan Greenwood, Freeport, boys track:Greenwood won the 300 meters (36.2 seconds) and 600 (1:22.46) in the Nassau Class A County Championship at St. Anthony's.
Sam Mo, Great Neck South, boys swimming: He was named MOS at the Nassau Championship meet after setting records in the 100-yard breaststroke (57.48) and the 200 individual medley (1:51.42). He was part of the record-setting 200 medley relay that finished in 3:18.99.
Andrew Capobianco, Wantagh, diving: With a score of 518.35, Capobianco became the first seventh-grader to win the Nassau diving title, surpassing the county record of 494.85 set by Bellmore-Merrick's Rob Siracusano in 1990.
Austin Kowalsky, Bellmore-Merrick, boys swimming: The senior took first in the 50 freestyle (21.35) and the 100 freestyle (46.77) at the Nassau Championships. Kowalsky also set a county record with a time of 21.10 in the 50 freestyle.
Jack Greenfield, Oyster Bay, boys fencing: The senior won the deciding 27th bout in the team tournament, breaking a tie at 13 with a 5-2 victory to lead Oyster Bay to a second consecutive Nassau title.
Jacob Goldberg, Ward Melville, boys fencing: He won the individual Suffolk epee championship, defeating Half Hollow Hills' Matthew Ross, 5-4.
Demi Antipas, Ward Melville, girls fencing: She finished her fourth consecutive undefeated season, going 2-0 in foil to lead Ward Melville to a 21-6 win over Brentwood. She won her fourth consecutive Suffolk individual foil title.
Stephanie Ying, Manhasset, girls fencing: She clinched the Nassau team title for Manhasset with a 5-1 victory in the final bout.
St. Anthony's girls sprint medley team: Megan Fiedler, Melissa June, Chynna-Monica Chung and Olicia Williams set a U.S. top time at the Millrose Games with a win in 4:02.62.
