Grace Gilmartin made two free throws to give Northport a four-point lead in the final seconds, leading the Tigers to a 58-57 road win over Smithtown West Wednesday in Suffolk III. Gilmartin finished with six points, 17 rebounds, and three steals. Ava DeMarco had 16 points, five assists, four rebounds, and four steals. Hailey Reuter had 19 points and six rebounds for Northport (17-0). Coach Richard Castellano said the Tigers clinched the division with the win.

Alyssa Lorefice finished with 24 points for Smithtown West (14-3), including a long three-pointer at the buzzer for the final score. Catherine Piccininni had 19 points.

Babylon 47, Smithtown Christian 43: Morgan Fiedler had 19 points and six steals for Babylon (13-3) in Suffolk VII. Gabby Weiss added 12 points. Peyton Logue-Boyd had nine points and 16 rebounds. Nadia Madu scored 19 points for Smithtown Christian (10-4).

BOYS BASKETBALL

Southold 64, St. Pius V 61: Kyan Olsen scored 30 points to lead Southold (12-6) to an overtime win in Suffolk VII. Travis Sepenoski had 15 points. Declan Jensen scored 22 points for St. Pius V (6-7).

TUESDAY’S GAMES

Massapequa 48, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 37: Will Leszczak led Massapequa (7-7) in Suffolk I with 13 points and seven rebounds. Alex Zager and Landon Lippman scored seven points apiece for Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (13-2).

Northport 51, West Babylon 50: Brody Gazzo led all scorers with 25 points, including a three-point play with less than 45 seconds left to give Northport (8-9) its final lead in Suffolk III. Danny Rose led West Babylon (3-13) with 21 points.

Southampton 75, Glenn 51: Alex Franklin became Southampton’s all-time leading scorer with his eighth point in the second quarter, finishing with 17 for the Mariners (12-2) in Suffolk VI. He surpassed Shaundell Fisburne’s 1,438-point record. Brian Spellman Jr. had 18 points. Saevion Ward had 17 points and six steals. CJ Mascia had 14 points for Glenn (8-8).
