Nick Frisina scored the winning goal two minutes into overtime off a header by Dan Nolasco to lead East Islip to a 3-2 win over Half Hollow Hills East in Suffolk III boys soccer on Tuesday. Frisina added an assist, Brennan Grieve had a goal and an assist and JJ Kilfoil made nine saves for East Islip (2-1-1). Zach Miller tied the score with two minutes remaining in regulation for Hills East (2-2). Max Nava made five saves.

Kellenberg 1, Chaminade 0: Declan Healy scored the go-ahead header off a free kick by Braedan Hinze with 48 seconds left for Kellenberg (6-0) in NSCHSAA. Finian Murray made three saves. Matthew Lagasse had four saves for Chaminade (1-4).

Division 8, Elmont 3: Johan Abreu scored four goals, including the go-ahead tally in the 50th minute to give Division (3-2-1) a 4-3 lead in Nassau AA-III. Mason Desmond and Gianluca Jara-Dure each added a goal and an assist. Brothers Faisal and Jabir Yunusa each scored a goal for Elmont (0-3).

MONDAY

Commack 2, Connetquot 1: Parker Schutte’s header off a direct kick from Axel Paz was the winning goal in the second overtime period for Commack (4-0) in Suffolk II. Ryan Curcio scored a goal off an assist from Christian Lusardi in the first half. Robbie Brennan scored the equalizer off an assist from Kaan Kaya in the second half for Connetquot (1-2). Riley LaRocca made 11 saves.

GIRLS SOCCER

Calhoun 1, Oceanside 0: Liana Serrano scored a goal off an assist from Emily Hill eight minutes into the first half to lead Calhoun (2-1-1) in Nassau I. Abby DaSilva made six saves. Ella Murray made six saves for Oceanside (4-1).

Garden City 2, Syosset 1: Kelsey Kern scored twice in the second half off assists from Kaitlyn Parker and Sydney Rhein to lead Garden City (2-1-1) in Nassau I. Shannon Walsh made 11 saves. Salma Pultz scored off a corner by Victoria Ranieri with 10 minutes left in the second half for Syosset (1-2). Tate Soifer made eight saves.

Floyd 2, Bay Shore 1: Bailey Meyer and Ester Avila each scored a goal for Floyd (1-4) in Suffolk I. Layla Vallone added an assist and Ava Tschinkel made five saves. Leah Mendolia scored off an assist from Aaliyah Jimenez and Anjali Russell made six saves for Bay Shore (0-5).

FIELD HOCKEY

Seaford 4, Sacred Heart 2: Madison O’Hagan had a goal and an assist to lead Seaford (3-1) in non-league. Jillian Mooney and Madeline Ulzheimer each added an assist. Maeve Duffy and Violet Ugue each scored a goal for Sacred Heart (0-3).

MONDAY

Harborfields 3, Pierson/Bridgehampton/Ross 0: Emma Glick had two goals and an assist to lead Harborfields (4-1) in Suffolk II. MK Fitzsimmons made five saves. Caroline Gregor made nine saves for Pierson/Bridgehampton/Ross (3-2).

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Sachem North 3, Smithtown East 0: Teagan Savas had 25 kills, three aces and nine digs and Bryan Kuhl had 36 assists and three aces to lead Sachem North (5-0) to a 25-12, 25-11, 25-19 win in Suffolk I.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Massapequa 3, Freeport 0: Livia Mulhearn had 10 kills and three aces to lead Massapequa (2-0) to a 25-12, 25-11, 25-11 win in Nassau AAA-II. Kiera Elfenbein had nine kills and three blocks and Maggie O’Brien tallied 29 assists and six aces.

MONDAY

Mattituck 3, Southampton 0: Riley Richert had 10 kills, 10 aces and seven digs to lead Mattituck (2-1) to a 25-13, 25-16, 25-16 win in Suffolk VII. Lizzie Fohrkolb had 15 digs and Hannah McCleery added 12 assists.
