Dante Melisi scored two first-half goals and added an assist to lead host Valley Stream North to a 4-3 win over Seaford in a Nassau Conference A boys soccer game in Franklin Square on Wednesday night.

Diego Martinez Guzman and Dilan Quesada each scored in the second half for Valley Stream North (1-4-1). London Cruz finished with two assists. LJ Foder (nine) and Lance Manaay combined for 12 saves. For Seaford (2-4-1), Brian Portnoy Jr. scored a goal and Justin Hausfeld scored two, including a penalty kick in the 75th minute which made it a one-goal game. His twin brother, Dylan Hausfeld, recorded eight saves.

Cold Spring Harbor 2, Evergreen Charter 1: Alex Janczyk and Oliver Smith both scored a goal to lead Cold Spring Harbor (2-4-1) in Nassau B. Caleb Louie made three saves. Esdras Ulloa scored a goal for Evergreen Charter (0-4).

Miller Place 1, Islip 0: Joseph Fichera scored the go-ahead goal off an assist from Luke Angelo in the 56th minute to lead Miller Place (1-4-1) in Suffolk V. Chris Mylett Jr. made 10 saves. Nate Krakaur made four saves for Islip (3-3).

East Islip 3, Bellport 2: Shawn Kelly scored off an assist from Brennan Grieve off a corner kick in the 74th minute to lead East Islip (3-1-2) in Suffolk III. Joe Carlino scored two goals and JJ Kilfoil saved seven shots.

Grayson Young added an assist. Ahad Shah and Kiane Lowe each scored a goal and Ryan King made seven saves for Bellport (1-5-1).

GIRLS SOCCER

Friends Academy 5, Oyster Bay 3: Lana Alvarez scored two goals to lead Friends Academy (2-3) in Nassau A/B-II. Dahlia Diaz and Violet Montanez each scored a goal. Mary Woodstock scored a goal for Oyster Bay (0-5).

Seaford 2, Wantagh 2: Leah Conklin and Georgina Deros each scored a goal for Seaford (6-0-2) and Angelina Indiviglia and Nessa Schoepfer each scored for Wantagh (2-1-2) in a Nassau A/B-I draw.

Miller Place 2, Islip 1: Violet Dvorsky had a goal and an assist to lead Miller Place (2-6) in Suffolk III. Stella Efstathiou scored a goal. Siena Franz scored for Islip (4-2-1).

FIELD HOCKEY

Shoreham-Wading River 2, Pierson/Bridgehampton/Ross 1: Mary Kilkenny and Isabella Minnion each had a goal and an assist and Sophia Giangreco saved 11 shots to lead Shoreham-Wading River (3-3) in Suffolk II. Lola Eldridge scored a goal for Pierson/Bridgehampton/Ross (3-5).

BOYS GOLF

Bayport-Blue Point 6.5, Sayville 2.5: Chase Rebore shot a 1-under-par 35 on the front nine of West Sayville Golf Course to lead Bayport-Blue Point (4-2) in Suffolk V. Aidan Merritt also shot a 1-under 35 for Sayville (4-1).

Sachem 7, Connetquot 2: Ryan Lamm shot a 2-under-par 34 on the front nine of the Oak Tree Course at Middle Island Country Club to lead Sachem (4-0) in Suffolk I. Lee Kaiser Jr shot a 1-under 35. Blake Zere and Carter Casey each shot a 3-over 39 for Connetquot (3-3).

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Smithtown West 3, West Islip 2: Emma Graziano totaled 24 kills and four aces to lead Smithtown West (3-3) past West Islip (4-3) in five sets, 25-17, 17-25, 23-25, 25-20, 15-13, in Suffolk IV. Lily Loveland added 23 digs.
