Owen Madden scored the winning goal with 3:17 left in the fourth overtime period to lead East Islip to a 10-9 win over Comsewogue in Suffolk Division II boys lacrosse on Tuesday.

Alex Theodoropoulos had three goals and an assist, including the tying goal with 58 seconds left in regulation. Madden had two goals. Eighth-grader Luke Rochford made 16 saves for East Islip (3-3).

Anthony Marino had three goals and an assist and Dylan O’Connor made 11 saves for Comsewogue (4-2).

MONDAY’S GAME

Center Moriches 13, Kings Park 6: Doug Ruhs had three goals and three assists and Charlie Dechiaro had two goals and three assists to lift Center Moriches (6-1) in Suffolk II. Gavin Javetski and Caden Leslie each had four points. Michael Albino made 14 saves. Matthew Corrado led Kings Park (1-6) with two goals and four assists and Nick Vicinanza made 16 saves.

GIRLS LACROSSE

West Islip 18, Mattituck 11: Mia Nicolosi had six goals and two assists to lead West Islip (7-0) in Suffolk II. Carly Obloj and Caitlin Vail both had two goals and three assists. Jenna Obloj had three goals and an assist. Page Kellershon had four goals and two assists and Gianna Calise had three goals and one assist for Mattituck (3-2).

Oceanside 14, Mepham 6: Riley Kudlek had five goals and two assists to lead Oceanside (2-6) in Nassau II. Sydney Abbott scored three goals, Rogan Costello had two goals and two assists and Caitlyn Cuccio added a goal and an assist. Ellie Meyer scored three goals for Mepham (0-6).

MONDAY’S GAME

Carey 12, Wheatley 8: Sophia Faraone had six goals and an assist and won 11 of 16 draw controls to lead Carey (3-4) in Nassau III. Lila Klupt added four goals and Olivia Wilde had two goals. Samantha Kovios scored four goals and Krista Burke had three goals and an assist for Wheatley (0-5).

BASEBALL

Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 7, Syosset 2: Brett LaGallo went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBIs to lead Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (5-3) in Nassau AAA-I. Michael Mijauca went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Stevie Boxer, Ryan Healey and Tim McDonough each added two hits. Ryan Paradiso struck out four and allowed two runs in five innings to earn the win and Joey Ruziecki struck out two batters in two scoreless innings of relief for the save.

MONDAY’S GAME

Massapequa 5, Farmingdale 1: Anthony Dinello went 3-for-3 with two home runs and five RBIs, including a two-run blast in the fourth inning to give Massapequa a 2-1 lead in Nassau AAA-I. Jack Scannapieco struck out five and allowed one earned run in 4 1⁄3 innings to earn the win for Massapequa (5-0).

Herricks 6, Uniondale 0: Tony Cardone struck out 14 in a two-hitter to lead Herricks (7-1) in Nassau AAA-II. Steven Aulicino went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two stolen bases. Charlie Schmidt went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

SOFTBALL

Plainedge 8, Clarke 7: Imogen Eaton drove in Charlotte Welsh on a walk-off sacrifice fly in the seventh inning of Plainedge’s win in Nassau II. Welsh hit a double to start the inning. Toni Testa drove in Alexis Fontana on a tying single in the sixth. Kayla Gately hit two solo home runs. Eaton went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and her sister, Kailyn, went 2-for-4 with a run scored for Plainedge (5-3). Giselle Palumbo went 2-for-3 with three RBIs for Clarke (6-3).

MONDAY’S GAMES

West Babylon 13, West Islip 8: Sarah Caltabiano went 3-for-5 with a home run, double, five RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base to lead West Babylon (4-5) in a Suffolk III/IV crossover game. Lauren Giudice and Jill Goldberg each went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored. Kayleigh Carlson went 2-for-5 with a tying three-run triple in the sixth as the Eagles overcame an 8-1 deficit. Carlson pitched three scoreless innings of relief to earn the win.

Riverhead 9, Sayville 5: Jordyn Kwasna went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, a run scored and three stolen bases to lead Riverhead (4-3) in non-league. Madison Saladino went 1-for-2 with an RBI, two runs scored and four stolen bases. Sophia Viola went 2-for-2 with three RBIs, a run scored and two stolen bases. Delilah Cummings went 1-for-1 with a solo home run and two runs scored for Sayville (4-3).

MONDAY’S GAME

Northport 20, Sayville 18: Hazel Carlson caught a go-ahead 4-yard touchdown pass from Grace Gilmartin in the final two minutes to lead Northport (4-3) in non-league. Gilmartin threw for 216 yards and two TDs and rushed for 48 yards. Sarah Power had 10 flag pulls and an interception. Carlson added 10 flag pulls, including three for loss.
