Alex Silbert rolled a 261 in Game 3 of a 727 series to lead Eastport-South Manor to a 29-7 win over Floyd in Suffolk League II boys bowling on Thursday. His brother Logan rolled a 246 in Game 2 of a 649 series and Vincenzo Boccabella bowled a 225 in Game 3 of a 636 series for ESM (8-1). Nicholas Powers rolled a 246 in Game 2 of a 662 series for Floyd (9-2).
Longwood 26, Sachem 10: Bobby Volk rolled a high game of 257 in a 657 series to lead Longwood (10-0) in Suffolk IV. Zac Frank rolled a 245 in Game 3 of a 608 series and Tyler Uss rolled a 215 in Game 1 of a 607 series. Carter Weinstein had 10 consecutive strikes for a 289 in Game 1 of a 671 series for Sachem (6-4).
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Farmingdale 52, Herricks 39: Molly McNamara had 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead Farmingdale (6-5) in Nassau AAA-I. Regan O’Connor had 16 points and five steals. Ridima Sethi scored 16 points for Herricks (5-9).
WEDNESDAY’S GAMES
MacArthur 75, New Hyde Park 39: Meaghan Campbell had 26 points and 17 rebounds to lead MacArthur (12-0) in Nassau AA-I. Campbell became the first player in MacArthur history to grab 1,000 rebounds in her career, according to coach Dave Radtke. Brianna Peduzzi added a career-high 17 points. Maeve Downing scored 17 points for New Hyde Park (7-5).
Mepham 49, Hewlett 37: Alexis Honerkamp had 11 points and 20 rebounds and Christina Eromon had 11 points and 14 rebounds to lead Mepham (8-5) in Nassau AA-II. Mia Koloden led Hewlett (2-8) with 10 points.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Sachem East 62, Patchogue-Medford 38: Aden-Amir Jones had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead Sachem East (7-6) in Suffolk I. Derek Hansen had 13 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Darius Erves scored nine points for Patchogue-Medford (1-11).
WEDNESDAY’S GAME
Harborfields 56, East Hampton 53: Sam Aronowsky scored 11 points, including the go-ahead three-pointer with two seconds left in regulation, to lead Harborfields (5-7) in Suffolk IV. Alex Ruisi scored 19 points and Ryan Barling added 13 points. Toby Foster led East Hampton (7-5) with 21 points.
