Angelina Giannotti scored four goals, including the winner in the third overtime period of Sachem North’s 10-9 win over Longwood in Suffolk Division I girls lacrosse on Saturday. Riley LaRocca had two goals and two assists and Mattea Vino added a goal and three assists for Sachem North (8-5). Gabriella LaGala and Olivia Morris each had three goals and an assist for Longwood (7-7).
BASEBALL
Hauppauge 3, Westhampton 2: Roman Dixon plated Matthew Oliveto on a walk-off single in the seventh for Hauppauge (12-6) in Suffolk V. Brendan Magill’s two-run single in the sixth gave Hauppauge a 2-0 lead. Nate Methven hit a tying RBI double in the top of the seventh for Westhampton (8-9).
