Maddie DiRusso hit what proved to be the winning layup with 3.5 seconds left, pushing Kings Park girls basketball past previously undefeated Shoreham-Wading River, 53-51, Tuesday in non-league. She also had five assists and five rebounds. Riley Currier went 7-for-8 from the foul line, including 2-for-2 with 30 seconds left to tie the game for Kings Park (8-3), and finished with a game-high 25 points and 14 rebounds. Madison Schultz had 15 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Leslie Jablonski led host Shoreham-Wading River (10-1) with 18 points.
Bay Shore 64, Longwood 41: Leahlani Ellis knocked down seven three-pointers, finishing with 23 points for Bay Shore (10-2) in Suffolk I. Nyah Isaac had 13 points and nine rebounds. Arianna Toribio scored 17 points for Longwood (2-10).
BOYS BASKETBALL
Great Neck North 61, Great Neck South 55: Charlie Shapiro led Great Neck North (3-8) to a rivalry win with 30 points, 10 rebounds and two steals in non-league. Jake Balazadeh added nine points, seven assists, five rebounds and two steals. Conrad Xu led Great Neck South (3-8) with 15 points.
Mount Sinai 51, Sayville 42: Brian Vales had 21 points and seven rebounds for Mount Sinai (9-2) in Suffolk V. Hunter Seale added 12 points. Wesley Jones scored 19 points for Sayville (8-5).
Westbury 61, East Meadow 53: Zion Mitchell scored a game-high 29 points to lead Westbury (8-3) in Nassau II. Petshley Louissaint recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Tristan Johnson had 10 assists. Christian Ekwanye scored 18 points for East Meadow (2-8).
Bay Shore 78, Longwood 56: Corey Faines posted 30 points, eight rebounds and three assists for Bay Shore (8-2) in its Suffolk I win. Niall Haughney added 24 points, 12 rebounds and four assists. Matt Ehlers had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Michael MacKenzie led Longwood (8-3) with 13 points.

Ward Melville 48, Huntington 44: James Coffey had 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists for Ward Melville (6-5) in its double-overtime Suffolk II win. Nick Normoyle and Shamell Spratley scored 11 points apiece for Huntington (5-5).
Commack 69, Newfield 61: Ryan Curcio scored 11 of his team-high 22 points in the second overtime period to lift Commack (6-5) to a Suffolk II win. Jonny Ehlers added 16 points, and Daniel Onuogu posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Ranard Fields scored a game-high 28 points for Newfield (3-9).
Southampton 70, Bayport-Blue Point 68: Saevion Ward led Southampton (7-2) to an overtime victory with 17 points, five assists and five steals in Suffolk VI. Chris Gorwitz led all scorers with 31 points for Bayport-Blue Point (4-7).

Floyd 19, Connetquot 17: Luis Soto Jr. rolled a strike in the 10th frame to win the match by just seven pins for Floyd (9-1) in Suffolk II. Nicholas Powers had a 632 series and a 224 high game. Chris Smith led Connetquot (8-2) with a 699 series, rolling games of 233, 230 and 236.
North Babylon 33, Huntington 3: Ethan LeBlanc posted a 724 series for North Babylon (10-1), rolling games of 267, 235 and 222 in Suffolk III.
Bayport-Blue Point 35, Sayville 1: Joey D’Amico led Bayport-Blue Point (5-4) to a Suffolk II win with a 276 high game in a 640 series.
Islip 32, West Islip 4: Gavin Connell led Islip (10-1) with a 730 series and a high game of 257 in Suffolk I. Anthony Bullaro added a high game of 277 in the second game and Brandon Simonetti added a 266 in the first game. Aidan Gargiulo shot 222 in the first game of a 640 series for West Islip (7-5).
GIRLS BOWLING
Comsewogue 31, Eastport-South Manor 9: Izzy Grillo bowled a high game of 206 in a 604 high series to lead Comsewogue (8-1) in Suffolk I.

MONDAY’S MEETS
Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 171.4, Sewanhaka District 161.35: Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK’s Addie Simon was first place in the all around with a 34.9. She also tied teammate Emily Croft for first place on vault with an 8.15. Sofia Rosamilia placed second in the all around (34.2) and bars (8.9). Andi Yu placed first on bars (9.4) and floor (9.35). Simon was second on floor with a 9.3 and Sewanhaka’s Isabella Nunez placed third on floor with a 9.15. Brooke Spero placed first on beam with an 8.9.
Cold Spring Harbor 132.5, Garden City 131.9: Grace Lombardo finished first on vault, bars and beam to lead Cold Spring Harbor (4-0) in Nassau II. Natalie LaCapra finished first in the floor exercise.
GIRLS FENCING
MONDAY’S MATCH
Hewlett 15, Valley Stream District 12: Rebecca Sult and Joanna Chen both went 3-0 in sabre for Hewlett (4-4) in its Nassau I win. Izzy Ginsburg (foil) and Claudia Lee (epee) both went 2-1.
