With the game tied, Reese Long hit a three-pointer as time expired to lift South Side over Manhasset, 48-45, in Nassau AA-III girls basketball on Wednesday. Long finished with 12 points and Ellie Lennon led the Cyclones (7-4) with 14 points, in a game that was tied at halftime and entering the fourth quarter. Sophia Corvetti added 10 points. Jream McLeod led Manhasset (7-5) with 15 points. Danielle Perfetto and Mariah Rosado added eight points apiece.
Carey 52, Elmont 45: Amelia Kalamaris and Andrea Arias each scored 10 points to lead Carey (4-5) in Nassau AA-III. Ophelia Lin scored all of her eight points in the fourth quarter. Daisy Buja also scored eight points. Laila Edwards had a game-high 19 points for Elmont (4-5).
Half Hollow Hills East 42, West Babylon 36: Marisa Dominic had 15 points, six rebounds and three assists to lead Half Hollow Hills East (6-5) in Suffolk III. Chloe Merchant had 11 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Kasey Moffat had six points, eight rebounds and three blocks. Samantha Heyman contributed six rebounds, five assists and three steals. Ava Agudio scored all seven of her points in the fourth quarter.
Smithtown Christian 61, East Hampton 42: Annalyn Loiacono scored 19 points to lead Smithtown Christian (7-3) in Suffolk VII. Nadia Madu added 15 points and Antonella Crilly had four three-pointers and 14 points. Kaili Moore scored 11 points for East Hampton (2-7).
TUESDAY’S GAMES
Northport 55, Smithtown East 46: Hailey Reuter’s 27 points led Northport (10-0) in Suffolk III. Regan Sofarelli added 11 points, and Grace Gilmartin had 20 rebounds for Northport. Smithtown East (6-6) was led by Carolyn Brennan’s 13 points.
Holy Trinity 52, West Hempstead 51: Emma McDermott hit a three pointer with 1.4 seconds left on the clock to win the game for Holy Trinity (2-11) in non-league. McDermott finished the game with eight points. Sariah Reed had a game-high 29 points, nine steals and six assists. Tina Zaza had 12 points. Daniella Healy had 23 points for West Hempstead (1-8). Gabriella Lubrano added 16 points and Jazmyn Russell scored 10.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Sewanhaka 44, Bethpage 40: Nehemy Fresnel had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead Sewanhaka (7-5) in Nassau V. Dante Anderson had 14 points and four steals. Mateo Alverez scored 14 points for Bethpage (7-6).
North Babylon 85, Copiague 73: Cameron Serrano led all scorers with 30 points for North Babylon (8-3) in Suffolk II. Jake Walsh added 24 points as North Babylon outscored Copiague, 49-36, in the second half. Ethan Abello and Martely Lemoine each scored 15 points for Copiague (9-3).
Commack 66, Huntington 47: Jonny Ehlers scored 17 points and Ty Wilhelm added 14 points to lead Commack (7-5) in Suffolk II. Ryan Curcio had 12 points and Nick Normoyle had 19 points for Huntington (6-5).

Massapequa 65, Freeport 56: Tyler Byrnes had 12 points and 18 rebounds for Massapequa (6-4) in a Nassau I win. John Neary added 15 points. Tyrel Williams scored 13 points for Freeport (2-9).
Kings Park 76, Wyandanch 69: Michael Svolos scored 20 points and Kyle Edmundson had 17 points, 15 rebounds, seven blocks and four assists to lead Kings Park (8-3) in Suffolk V. Charlie Pace added 16 points and Logan Tutone had 13 points. Tyrese Emmanuel had 21 points, Josh Presmy had 16 points and Tyrie Pinnock had 14 points for Wyandanch (0-8).
BOYS BOWLING
Sewanhaka 11, Great Neck North 11: Ryan Wilders rolled a 300 in a Game 1 of a 644 series to lead Sewanhaka over Great Neck North, 11-0, in Nassau I boys bowling on Wednesday. Wilders rolled a 163 in Game 2 and a 181 in Game 3 for Sewanhaka (12-0).
GIRLS BOWLING
East Islip 40, Bay Shore 0: Brooke Andresen rolled a high game of 232 in a 681 series to lead East Islip (7-1) in Suffolk II. Peyton Scholl rolled a 207 high game in a 586 series. Makayla Boyd rolled a 233 high game in a 570 series and MJ Schwitzer rolled a 566 series.
Kellenberg 9, St. Mary’s 0: Kerri Callahan bowled a 514 series and Allie Pillock bowled a 384 series for Kellenberg in the CHSAA.

TUESDAY’S MEET
Port Washington/Roslyn 91, Oceanside 74: Caleb Weiss qualified for the Nassau County championships with a time of 54.26 in the 100 freestyle and a time of 5:17.50 in the 500 free for Port Washington/Roslyn. Zach Lee swam a personal-best 1:06.67 to win the 100 breaststroke, Connor Chan swam a 24.09 in the 50 free and Robert Pedersen had first-place finishes in the 200 and 500 free for Port Washington/Roslyn.
