Top-seeded Saje Menon of Wheatley defeated No. 2 Will Bohner of Friends Academy, 6-4, 6-2, to win the singles title at the Nassau boys tennis individual championships on Saturday at Eisenhower Park. Menon defeated No. 5 Preston Wang (Jericho), 6-2, 7-5, in the semifinals.

Wiese, Bravo repeat: Garden City’s Ben Wiese and CJ Bravo defeated No. 2 Nikhil Shah and Aayan Mehta of Syosset, 6-2, 6-0, to claim their second straight doubles title. The top-seeded duo defeated No. 4 Bartek Dziedziach and Oliver Samter (Roslyn), 6-1, 6-1 in the semifinals.

BOYS LACROSSE

St. Dominic 10, Holy Trinity 5: Aiden Cromwell had five goals and two assists to lead St. Dominic to the NSCHSAA Class A title. Brian Medley had three goals and two assists and Logan Bracco made 16 saves. St. Dominic (9-3) advanced to in the CHSAA State championship game on Friday. Holy Trinity finished 10-4.

SOFTBALL

Syosset 6, Farmingdale 5: Sienna Renny drove in Alyson Romanello on a walk-off single in the eighth inning of No. 3 Syosset’s win over No. 6 Farmingdale in Game 3 of the Nassau Class AAA quarterfinals. Ella Lanza went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored. Syosset (9-12) will visit No. 2 Massapequa at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in the first of a three-game semifinal series. Farmingdale finished 3-15.

Plainedge 3, Wheatley 1: Savannah Speicher struck out six in a two-hitter to lead No. 3 Plainedge past No. 6 Wheatley in Game 3 of a Nassau Class A quarterfinal series. Speicher and Charlotte Welsh each had two hits. Plainedge (16-6) will visit No. 2 Seaford at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in the first of a three-game semifinal series. Wheatley finished 15-6.

BASEBALL

Wheatley 4, Floral Park 2: Alex Golub hit a go-ahead two run home run in the bottom of the sixth to lead No. 3 Wheatley over No. 6 Floral Park in Game 1 of a Nassau Class A quarterfinal series. PJ O’Connor went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Wheatley (14-7). Vincent D’Erasmo hit a double and scored a run for Floral Park (11-10), which will host Game 2 at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
