Jake Prince scored 21 points, pulled down five rebounds and dished out three assists to lead Lynbrook to a 66-60 win over Valley Stream South in Nassau VI boys basketball on Wednesday night. Devin Byrne made four three-pointers and finished with 16 points in the win for Lynbrook (5-1). Jaden Pryce led Valley Stream South (3-2) with 20 points and Sixtus Okorie added 16.

Bay Shore 61, Sachem East 51: Corey Faines scored 19 points to lead Bay Shore (5-0) in Suffolk I. Matt Ehlers and Niall Haughney added 14 points each in the win. Josh Boothe led Sachem East (3-2) with 18 points.

TUESDAY’S GAMES

Malverne 63, Friends Academy 60: Malverne (3-1) was led by Shane Lee, who scored 15 points and eight assists in Nassau VII. Lee made both free throws to put Malverne up, 61-57, with seven seconds remaining. Jason Miletic and Andrew Innocent each had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Jax Saulter had 23 points for Friends Academy (2-2).

Lindenhurst 58, Connetquot 55: Mike Russo hit the go-ahead three-pointer early in the first overtime period and then Yassine Razik blocked a shot on the final play to seal the win for Lindenhurst (4-3) in Suffolk II. John Jimenez led all scorers with 22 points. Jack Tissier added 11 points. Connor Gibbons scored 17 points, followed by Joey Stefano with 15 and Mathew Marzocca with 14 for Connetquot (0-7).

Garden City 65, Roslyn 64: Max Siragusa scored 18 points and Matt Uhoda had 15 to lead Garden City (3-0) in Nassau IV. Ben Pinini led all scorers will 22 points and Benjy Rubin had 18 points for Roslyn (4-2).

Hampton Bays 43, Port Jefferson 42: Kyle Gorman hit a winning three-pointer with one second left to cap off a 16-point comeback for Hampton Bays (2-4) in non-league. Gorman totaled 14 points and six assists in the win, and Julius Latttanzio added 10. John Tedesco contributed seven points and eight rebounds in the win. Dan Rose’s 14 points and Ben Amadio’s 13 led Port Jefferson (1-4).

Harborfields 56, Islip 54: Ryan Barling had 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead Harborfields (1-2) in Suffolk IV. Alex Ruisi and Sam Aronowsky each scored eight. Chase Batkiewiez, Lvens Foronjy and Chase Herrington each scored 12 for Islip (0-5).

Hauppauge 47, Eastport-South Manor 45: Tucker Brown scored 20 points and forced a missed three-pointer on defense on the game’s final play to secure the victory for Hauppauge (1-4) in Suffolk IV. Mario Chavez added 16 points in the win. Brady McGowan led Eastport-South Manor (3-1) with 16 points, and Logan Walsh made a trio of three-pointers and finished with 11 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Rocky Point 56, Miller Place 44: Kaleigh Moeller posted a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds and Giuliana Tocci totaled 19 points and five assists for Rocky Point (6-1) in Suffolk V. Avah Robinson scored 17 points for Miller Place (1-5).

Longwood 41, Patchogue-Medford 35: Zareah Rivero scored 12 points, Gianna Toney added eight and Zoe Jackson chipped in seven to lead Longwood (2-1) in Suffolk I. Lily Durkin finished with 11 points for Patchogue-Medford (2-4).

TUESDAY’S GAMES

Elmont 47, Sewanhaka 44: Kayla Latiff hit a three-pointer with eight seconds remaining to break a tie and give Elmont (2-1) the Nassau AA-III win. Latiff finished with 18 points. Laila Edwards had eight steals and five deflections while Essence Saunds pulled down 14 rebounds. Lilah Lopez led Sewanhaka (2-4) in scoring with 19 points followed by Alexi Stewart with 14 points.

Huntington 52, North Babylon 46: Grace Gordon hit three free throws in the final minute to seal Suffolk II win for Huntington (3-2). Ava McDonald led Huntington with 18 points, three assists and three steals. Madyn Kalb added nine points, four rebounds, four assists and five steals. Olivia Rush led all scorers with 21 points for North Babylon (3-2).

BOYS BOWLING

Floyd 22, Bay Shore 14: Nicholas Powers rolled a 245, a 206 and a 214 for a 665 series to lead Floyd (5-1) in Suffolk II. Jaiden Reyes fired a 570 series with a 200 high game for Bay Shore (2-3).

Mineola 11, Garden City 0: Manny Da Mota’s three straight strikes to end Game 1 and Nick Tercynski’s four straight strikes to end Game 3 helped lead Mineola (6-0) to the top of the Nassau II standings. Chris Tercynski fired a 227 in Game 1 to contribute to the win.
