Jordan Tucker hit the winning three-pointer with six seconds left to lead Sewanhaka to a 46-45 win over Great Neck North in Nassau AA-IV boys basketball on Friday. Tucker finished with 15 points, 13 rebounds and three steals, and Dylan McLennon had 15 points, nine rebounds and four steals for Sewanhaka (14-4). Joseph Banilivi had eight points for Great Neck North (7-11).

Newfield 51, Sachem North 49: Josh Hayes hit a go-ahead turnaround jumper with 14 seconds left and scored 23 points for Newfield (10-6), which clinched a playoff berth, in Suffolk II. Brayden Tappin had 16 points for Sachem North (3-14).

THURSDAY’S GAME

Stony Brook School 50, Lawrence Woodmere Academy 43: Orlando Morris had 25 points, six assists and three steals to lead Stony Brook School (10-4) in PSAA. Nate Small added 12 points, four steals and three assists. Chris Clark scored 15 points for Lawrence Woodmere Academy (15-5).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Hauppauge 41, Westhampton 36: Alexa Fortune scored 14 points to lead Hauppauge (7-8) in Suffolk IV. Hailey Kulesa had 11 points and 13 rebounds. Sandra Clarke scored 10 points for Westhampton (14-2).

Seaford 56, Friends Academy 30: Amanda Williamson had eight points, eight assists, five rebounds and six steals to lead Seaford (15-3) in Nassau A-II. Daniella Stek had 11 points and 12 rebounds and CJ Block had 12 points and four rebounds. Dafna Jakubiak had 10 points for Friends (5-10).

THURSDAY’S GAME

Mount Sinai 59, Glenn 46: Mia Betancourt had 12 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds to lead Mount Sinai (12-4) in Suffolk VI. Kyla Orlando had 24 points and five steals. Lexi Cergol had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Caroline Mullman and Riley Szokoli each had 16 points for Glenn (7-10).

East Islip 32, Huntington 1: Brenden Muller bowled a 745 series for East Islip (16-0) in Suffolk II. Andrew Jacobsen added a 698 series and Matthew Sundberg had a 681 series. Lucas Brelsford tossed a combined 440 in Games 2 and 3, and Matthew Wodicka bowled a 217 in Game 2.

Longwood 23, Sachem 17: Mikayla James bowled a high game of 235 in a 630 series to help Longwood (12-0) clinch the Suffolk I title. Kaylee Dwyer had a 226 high game and Jossalyn Liverpool added a 222.

Central Islip 30, Half Hollow Hills 10: Leighanna Tolan rolled games of 270, 255 and 247 for a 772 series to lead Central Islip (5-6) in Suffolk I. Tolan finishes the regular season with the highest average, 235.66, among all Suffolk girls bowlers for the second year in a row, according to Central Islip coach Noel Rivera.
