Tristan Yang won the Nassau boys diving title with a county-record score of 639.85 at the Nassau Aquatic Center on Wednesday. The Jericho sophomore surpassed Great Neck South’s Nicholas Shen’s record of 580.35 set in 2020.

Yang, the defending boys state diving champion, also won the Nassau crown last year.

GIRLS BOWLING

Kellenberg 6, St. Anthony’s 3: Kerri Callahan had a high game of 245 in a 637 series to help No. 2 Kellenberg defeat No. 3 St. Anthony’s in the CHSAA semifinals. Grace Pizzardi added a 419 series.

Liz Gallant bowled a 468 series, Shelby Reid added a 444 series and Sienna Martin had a 439 series for St. Anthony’s.

Kellenberg plays top-seeded St. John the Baptist in the final at Wantagh Lanes at 4 p.m. on Thursday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Islip 46, Kings Park 45: Eric Heimlich hit a winning 15-foot jump shot with 28 seconds left to give Islip the Suffolk V win. Devon Carter had 20 points and eight rebounds for Islip (8-10). Chase Herrington added 13 points. Thomas Matonti led Kings Park (8-10) with 16 points. Kyle Edmundson hit four three-pointers, finishing with 14 points.

Smithtown West 62, Deer Park 47: Jack Melore had 20 points for Smithtown West (17-1) in Suffolk III. Michael Cascione added 15 points. DiMaunt’e Gardner led Deer Park (10-8) with 13 points.

TUESDAY’S GAMES

St. Anthony’s 54, St. John the Baptist 51: Chris Welling hit the winning three-pointer with 1.8 seconds left in the fourth quarter to break a tie at 51 for St. Anthony’s (12-6) in the CHSAA. Kevin Moore had 15 points, six rebounds and four assists. Steven Williams had 15 points for St. John the Baptist (9-7).

Kellenberg 75, St. Mary’s 62: Jordan Leach had 16 points and Jack Geoghan added 15 points to lead Kellenberg (8-8).

St. Dominic 68, Holy Trinity 57: Christian Thomas had 25 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks to lead St. Dominic (8-9). Adam Jerome had nine points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. Cameron Obujari scored eight points, all in the fourth quarter. Malachi Cooper had 15 points for Holy Trinity (12-6).

Port Washington 52, Baldwin 42: Kenny Daly scored all six of his points in the fourth quarter for Port Washington as the Vikings outscored the Bruins 17-5 to complete the Nassau AAA-II comeback. Trevor Amalfitano led Port Washington (17-2) with 15 points. Cole Reyes and John Spinoso scored 11 points each. Shane Mauldin led Baldwin (13-3) with 15 points.

Port Washington clinched the conference championship with the win.

Farmingdale 55, Westbury 47: Jake Mangio had 19 points and Erik Kubelka added 12 points to lead Farmingdale (14-4). JJ Collins had 10 points and Caden Lennon had nine points. Apollo Simmons had 20 points for Westbury (10-7).

Syosset 74, Hempstead 69: AJ AbuSaab scored 22 points to lead Syosset (15-4) in Nassau AAA-I. Yassen Shaker had 16 points, Cooper Smith had 15 points and Will Pettinato had 12 points. Ziyair Jones had 30 points and Ja’Quan Morgan had 23 points for Hempstead (12-7).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Manhasset 65, Bethpage 47: Mia LoPinto had 16 points, 11 steals and eight assists and Lauren Perfetto and Danielle Perfetto each added 12 points for Manhasset (16-3) in Nassau AA-III.

TUESDAY’S GAMES

Rocky Point 43, Eastport-South Manor 42: Julia Koprowski hit two free throws to give Rocky Point a two-possession lead with 6.7 seconds left in the fourth quarter in Suffolk IV. Sarah May and Kylie Lamoureux recorded back-to-back steals prior to Koprowski’s free throws for Rocky Point (12-4).

McKenzie Moeller had 20 points and Ella Rodriguez added 16 points for Eastport-South Manor (7-10).

Bay Shore 46, Copiague 43: Shani Clark scored 24 points, including eight points in the fourth quarter, for Bay Shore (11-8) in Suffolk II. Payton Imhof and Khaleis London had six points each. Shaina Sheen led Copiague (2-16) with 11 points.

Sachem East 51, Brentwood 33: Abby Morrongiello had 17 points, nine rebounds and eight assists to lead Sachem East (9-9) in Suffolk I.

Longwood 45, Ward Melville 32: Giselle Harris had 18 points and Ainsley Hololob added 14 points to lead Longwood (9-9). Addison Dellaporta had 14 points for Ward Melville (11-6).

Massapequa 58, Freeport 49: Briana Neary scored 25 points, including her 1,000th career point, for Massapequa (13-6) in Nassau AAA-I. Grace Trotta added 19 points.

Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 63, Academy Charter 20: Emma Heaney had 19 points, including her 1,000th, to lead Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK (14-5).

St. Dominic 50, Holy Trinity 44: Bella Franck had 17 points and Gabrielle Himmelstein added 16 points to lead St. Dominic (10-2) in the CHSAA. Maya Logie had 19 points for Holy Trinity (3-13).
