Ella Van Nostrand scored the go-ahead goal in the final minute of Massapequa’s 2-1 win over Carle Place in Nassau I field hockey on Wednesday. Kaitlyn Terranova added a goal and an assist and Isla Sikinger made eight saves for Massapequa (3-2). Emi Coronel scored a goal for Carle Place (1-3).

East Hampton 2, West Babylon 0: Merritt Bistrian-Emptage and Juliette Jimenez each scored a goal for East Hampton (2-4) in Suffolk II. Sophia Corrigan made four saves for West Babylon (0-6).

TUESDAY’S GAMES

North Babylon 2, Riverhead 1: Amelia Santana scored the go-ahead goal off an assist from Adriana DePrima with 13:39 left in the fourth quarter to lead North Babylon (2-2) in Suffolk I. Juliana Isoldi scored off an assist from Gabriella Farber in the second period. Karlie Nohejl scored a goal for Riverhead (0-4).

North Shore 1, East Meadow 0: Lila Archer scored the lone goal with 10 minutes left in the game and Adrianna Collura made eight saves to lead North Shore (2-0) in Nassau III. Arianna Rosa made eight saves for East Meadow (2-1).

BOYS SOCCER

Riverhead Charter 4, Bayport-Blue Point 1: Douglas Zelaya-Archaga scored two goals and added an assist to lead Riverhead Charter (3-3) in Suffolk VI. Dean Castoro scored the goal for Bayport-Blue Point (2-3).

TUESDAY’S GAMES

Eastport-South Manor 1, Hauppauge 0: Charles Dewar scored off an assist from David Oliveira in the 60th minute and Joshua Smith saved a penalty kick in the 73rd to secure the win for Eastport-South Manor (1-5) over Hauppauge (4-2) in Suffolk IV. Smith finished with 14 saves. It was ESM’s first victory since Sept. 11, 2024.

Sachem East 4, Floyd 1: Jaxson Weber scored a hat trick for the second straight game to lead Sachem East (4-1) in Suffolk I. Ryan Lira scored off an assist from Jake Symancyk and Jake Pendl added an assist. Matt Amalfitano scored for Floyd (2-2-1) to tie the game at 1-1 in the 30th minute.

GIRLS SOCCER

Mt. Sinai 2, Kings Park 1: Alexa Cergol scored on a corner kick and assisted Sophie Albertina’s goal to lead Mt. Sinai (4-0) in Suffolk III. Charlotte Laraque made seven saves. Mia Ierano scored for Kings Park (1-3-1) and Taylor Valdes made eight saves.

West Islip 1, Half Hollow Hills West 0: Meghan Farrell scored the lone goal off a free kick to lead West Islip (5-0) in Suffolk II. Kalinka Klusek made three saves. Zoe Franks made nine saves for Half Hollow Hills West (3-1-2).

Half Hollow Hills East 3, Bellport 1: Francesca Grizopoulos scored two goals and Kenzie Schneidler added a goal to lead Half Hollow Hills East (3-2) in Suffolk II. Jolie Axelrod made four saves. Charlotte Barry made 13 saves for Bellport (0-7).

Smithtown West 3, West Islip 1: Logan Singleton had 19 kills, four blocks and two aces to lead Smithtown West (3-2) to a 25-22, 25-18, 19-25, 25-22 win in Suffolk II. Christian Savoretti added 11 kills and Derek Tomitz had 41 assists. Anthony Posanti had 15 kills, 14 digs, four blocks and two aces for West Islip (4-1).

Bay Shore 3, Sachem North 1: Kerrin Butler had 33 assists and 11 digs to lead Bay Shore (6-0) to a 25-17, 25-21, 23-25, 25-21 win in Suffolk I. Haven Mills added 18 kills and six digs. Molly Larkin had 15 digs and five kills.

Sachem East 3, Commack 0: Bridget Hansen had 17 kills, 17 assists and seven digs to lead Sachem East (6-0) to a 25-17, 25-6, 25-9 Suffolk II win. Shealyn Christie had six kills and 15 digs. Avery Thurston added six kills.

BOYS GOLF

Sachem 9, Patchogue-Medford 0: Lee Kaiser Jr shot a 3-under-par 32 on the front nine of Mill Pond Golf Course to lead visiting Sachem (2-0) past Patchogue-Medford (0-3) in a Suffolk I match. Cole Rosensweig shot a 2-under 33 and Jake Santulli followed with a 1-under 34. Chris Mordente added a 4-over 39.
