Jonathan Zelaya headed in the winning goal in the 65th minute for Patchogue-Medford Thursday in a 2-1 victory over Commack in Suffolk League I boys soccer.
David DiNapoli tied the score at 1 from 30 yards in the 55th minute for Pat-Med (2-2). Brentwood 1, Sachem North 0: Carlos Escobar scored the lone goal and Raul Bonilla made two saves for his fifth shutout for Brentwood (4-0) in League I. Dolores Diemicke made 17 saves for Plainedge.Miller Place 2, Islip 1: Laura Barrecca scored with 21 minutes left off a ball played in the box by Gabby Mongno to give Miller Place (3-1) a 2-0 lead in Suffolk League V. Freshman Danielle Bambola made 18 saves in the win.
