Giana Cerrone went 3-for-4 with a grand slam and a three-run home run as Manhasset defeated Floral Park 16-4, in Nassau V softball on Thursday. Cerrone added a two-run double and finished her day with nine RBIs for Manhasset (10-5). Mirei Kuzukyan went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBIs. Floral Park falls to 11-2.

MacArthur 3, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK 0: Taylor Brunn struck out 12 in a no-hitter, while walking two batters to lead MacArthur (14-0) in Nassau I on Wednesday. Sofia Anderson’s two-out, two-run single scored Hailey Feiler and Nicole Stueckenschneider who each singled in the top of the fifth inning.

Riverhead 1, Sachem East 0: Mya Marelli struck out 10 in the shutout and drove in Shay Bealey with a two-out walk-off hit for Riverhead (9-6) in Suffolk III. Sachem East is 8-5.

Half Hollow Hills 10, Brentwood 5: Ava Blasi went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and a run scored to lead Half Hollow Hills in (6-9) in Suffolk I. Mikaila Correa and Emma Meenan each finished with two hits, including a double. Olivia Madrid hit a two-RBI single in the sixth inning. Mariella Wood hit a solo home run for Brentwood (4-10).

BASEBALL

Eastport-South Manor 6, Rocky Point 5: Drew McGowan hit a walk-off home run to lead off the bottom of the eighth inning for Eastport-South Manor (9-7) in Suffolk VII. McGowan went 2-for-4 with three runs scored.

Bay Shore 2, Whitman 1: Noah Rosario’s line drive single to centerfield drove in Cole Fesefeldt with the game-winning run in the sixth inning in Suffolk I. Earlier in the inning, Brendan Knapp’s squeeze bunt drove in Jason Carrion to tie the score at one apiece. Jorge Rosario allowed no earned runs in seven innings. Matt DuRussel went 2-for-3 with a double. Rosario went 1-for-2 with an RBI. Knapp went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Roberto Valdes went 2-for-4 for Bay Shore (8-5). Whitman is 3-10.

BOYS LACROSSE

Connetquot 12, Half Hollow Hills 11: Aidan Deliso scored the game-winner in overtime to lead Connetquot over Half Hollow Hills, 12-11, in Suffolk I boys lacrosse on Wednesday. Tyler Moore scored two goals and had three assists, Tyler McCarthy scored two goals and had two assists. Carson Turissini added three goals. Colton Stellwagen registered 10 saves for Connetquot (11-2). Sal Santoro had 10 saves for Half Hollow Hills (10-3).

Kellenberg 11, Fordham Prep 10: Mike Anzelone scored three goals with two assists, including the game winner with 3:23 left, to lead Kellenberg (4-8) over Fordham Prep in non-league. Thomas Jack scored two goals and made one assist. Michael Felicetti and Donovan O’Toole each scored a goal and had two assists. Charlie Villa registered 12 saves.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Bellmore JFK 10, Freeport 9: Kaylee Ayers scored four goals, including a goal with one minute left in the second half to give Bellmore JFK a 10-8 lead, in Nassau IV. Lauren Robinson scored two goals and had an assist for Bellmore JFK (9-4). Cassie Smith scored four goals for Freeport (6-5).

Comsewogue 11, Center Moriches 10: Gianna McNulty scored five goals to lead Comsewogue (5-8) in Suffolk II. Gabby Constant had two goals, an assist and 11 draw controls. Kamryn McCrary added two goals and had an assist. Lauren Spivak scored four goals and Riley Schildt made 11 saves for Center Moriches (7-7).

St. Dominic 6, Kellenberg 5: Meg Morrisroe scored the game-winning goal with three minutes left in the second half for St. Dominic (6-7) in the CHSAA. Morrisroe finished with three goals and had an assist. Mary Ford made nine saves.

FLAG FOOTBAL

Patchogue-Medford 34, Riverhead 13: Alexis Bulson-Cuozzo completed 22-of-26 passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns and had a 30-yard rushing touchdown to lead Patchogue-Medford (8-0-2) over Riverhead (0-5) in Suffolk II. Kelsey Hudson, Angelina McGrath and Diamond Pertillar each had an interception, with Hudson returning her interception for a 24-yard touchdown. Pertillar had four catches for 56 yards and two touchdowns.
