Medlock helps Mineola girls top Roosevelt

Senior Kerri Medlock had 23 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 10 steals to lead Mineola in a 48-36 win over Roosevelt Monday in Conference A-IV girls basketball. Charlotte Renker scored 10 points to go with seven rebounds for the Mustangs (2-2). Tiara Ware scored 14 points for Roosevelt.

St. Mary's 48, Ursuline Academy 42: Nelia Collins scored nine of her 26 points in the fourth quarter and then she hit two free throws with 13 seconds left for St. Mary's (5-8) in non-league.
