Port Washington's Taylor Titcomb ran to a first-place finish in 16 minutes, 52 seconds at the Nassau Conference I championship. Sidharth Kakkar took third and Ryan Schwartz fifth as Port Washington finished first with 27 points.Aakaash Pillalamarr took first in the Conference II championship in 16:59.4 and led Herricks to a fourth-place finish. Calhoun, led by Zach Toner (17:00.3) with a second-place finish, won the Conference II team title with 36 points.

Travis Laderer took third in 17:38.9 and led North Shore (41) to the Conference IV championship.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Stephanie Gerland finished first (19:58.1) and her sister, Jen, took second in 19:58.3 as Garden City won the Nassau Conference II title with 30 points. East Meadow, led by Meghan Peysson (20:45.3), who finished fourth, took first in Conference I with 38 points.

Manhasset's Mary Welsh finished first in 19:55.4 and led her team to a top finish with 49 points. Her teammate Julia Smaldone came in fourth in 21:34.6.FOOTBALL

Mineola 39, Malverne 14: Rob Clarkin completed all eight of his pass attempts for 190 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score for Mineola (4-4) in a Nassau IV game on Sunday. Tom Breslin had eight tackles for Mineola, which clinched the No. 8 seed in the playoffs. Malverne is 3-5.
