Giulia Francese scored off an assist from Stella Musso with 6:47 left in overtime to lead Miller Place over Comsewogue, 1-0, in a Suffolk League II field hockey game Wednesday. Abigail Greguski made one save for Miller Place (10-6). Grace Peyman made 17 saves for Comsewogue (9-7).

Bayport-Blue Point 5, East Hampton 0: Shannon Carney had two goals and one assist and Payton Weybrecht had one goal and two assists to lead Bayport-Blue Point (15-1) in Suffolk II. Natalie Bosse added a goal and an assist. Izzy Briand made 16 saves and Yuliana Pinedo made 12 saves for East Hampton (5-11).

Sayville 6, Babylon 0: Keira Lombardo and Emma Iannacchino each scored two goals to lead Sayville (8-8) in Suffolk II. Paige Manning and Taylor Brink each had a goal and an assist and Emma Tloczkowski added two assists. Madi Semeraro made eight saves for Babylon (2-13).

Ward Melville 2, Riverhead 1: Elliot Burgueno scored off an assist from Owen Hickey to lead Ward Melville (10-5-1) in Suffolk I. Myles Weber scored a goal and Christian Puopolo made five saves. Damian Zeleyandia made 10 saves for Riverhead (0-17).

GIRLS SOCCER

Floral Park 2, North Shore 1: Katie Gormley and Juliette Payoute each scored second-half goals to lead No. 4 Floral Park over No. 5 North Shore in a Nassau Class A girls soccer quarterfinal. Siena McCree made six saves for Floral Park (7-5-3). Erin Lily LaRosa scored and Charlotte Healy made 12 saves for North Shore (5-9-1). Floral Park will face the winner of No. 1 Seaford/No. 8 Wheatley 5:30 p.m. Monday in the semifinals.

Wantagh 6, Island Trees 0: Kayla Mannix scored the first goal of the game 30 seconds into the first half and Shannon Udell added three goals and one assist to lead No. 2 Wantagh over No. 7 Island Trees in a Nassau Class A quarterfinal. Katelyn Baudo and McKayla Hyland each scored. Jacqueline Hudson made four saves and Gianna Field made three for Wantagh (8-3-3). Olivia Carbonaro made seven saves for Island Trees (6-4-6). Wantagh will face the winner of No. 3 Plainedge/No. 6 Lynbrook 7:30 p.m. Monday at Cold Spring Harbor High School in the semifinals.

Commack 6, Whitman 1: Bree Mender had two goals and two assists to lead Commack (13-1-2) in a Suffolk I regular-season game. Katija Tagliento, Melena Cerulli, Valentina Castelli and Charlotte Aliperti each added a goal. Maria Yanes scored and Natali Orruego Cruz made 12 saves for Whitman (1-15).

Ward Melville 7, Brentwood 0: Lauren Cosenza scored two goals to lead Ward Melville (13-3) in Suffolk I. Molly Karp had a goal and two assists. Caitlyn McGee, Tori Casalbore and Aliya Leonard each had a goal and an assist. Zoey Chavez made 10 saves for Brentwood (6-9-1).

Northport 7, Bay Shore 1: Riley Cash had one goal and two assists, Ava DeMarco had two goals and Finley Wickard had one goal and one assist to lead Northport (14-0-2) in Suffolk I. Erin Wolfe made 16 saves for Bay Shore (3-13).

North Babylon 3, Sachem East 1: Dakota Rivers, Brook Milheiser and Monica Clavijo all scored second-half goals to lead North Babylon (11-4-1) in Suffolk I. Clavijo also had two assists and Alexa Furman made five saves. Camryn Goodman scored and Sophia Carpentino made three saves for Sachem East (11-4-1).

GIRLS TENNIS

Floyd 4, Commack 3: Gianna Martin and Tatiana Sanchez defeated April Chu and Katelyn Cloughen, 5-7, 6-2, 6-4, at second doubles to lead No. 6 Floyd over No. 3 Commack in a Suffolk Large School quarterfinal. Floyd will play at No. 2 Westhampton 2 p.m. Friday in a semifinal.
