1. SACHEM NORTH BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Sachem North improved to 12-0 with a straight-set win over East Hampton/Bridgehampton, led by Adam Bloomfield (13 kills) and Matt Grace (33 assists). The Flaming Arrows are two wins away from their third-straight undefeated regular season.

2. MASSAPEQUA GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Massapequa is one win from another undefeated season in Nassau AA-I. The Chiefs are fresh off wins over Plainview JFK and Baldwin, with Jamie Smith tallying 23 kills and 22 assists combined in the victories.

3. GARDEN CITY FIELD HOCKEY

The Trojans beat Carle Place to close out an undefeated regular season. Michaela Bruno led the team with 25 points and Emily Clarke was second with 21 points. Garden City earned a bye into the Nassau Class B semifinals.

4. FARMINGDALE FOOTBALL

The Dalers improved to 7-0 with a 35-21 win over backyard rival Massapequa. Farmingdale's Jordan McLune had 128 yards rushing and scored three touchdowns.

5. NEWFIELD FOOTBALL

Quarterback Ryan Klemm continued to add to all of his school passing records in a 32-0 thorough beating of North Babylon. Klemm threw for two first quarter touchdowns as the Wolverines took a 25-0 halftime lead in the blowout.

6. MASSAPEQUA GIRLS SOCCER

The Chiefs, looking to capture their 12th county title and third straight state championship, completed an unbeaten league season and secured a first-round bye in the playoffs as the top seed. Melanie Hingher anchors a defense that had five shutouts in its final six games. Hope Breslin had 20 goals this season.

7. SACHEM EAST GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Sachem East had two runners place in the top five at the Burnt Hills Invitational in Saratoga Springs. Alexandra DeCicco finished second in 17:40.59 and Valerie Romero was fifth in 18:06.20. Sachem East won the team title, scoring 68 points.

8. MASSAPEQUA BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Matthew Pinto had four kills and three aces to lead Massapequa (13-0) in its straight set win over New Hyde Park.

9. CHAMINADE BOYS SOCCER

Chaminade locked up its second straight CHSAA regular-season title with a 2-1 win over St. Anthony's. The Flyers' only loss was to Brentwood on Sept. 6.

10. CONNETQUOT GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Connetquot is 12-0 in Suffolk II after big performances this week from Nicole Migliozzi (32 assists) and Mackenzie Cole (20 digs) against Sachem North. Lauren Ballinger and Katie Von Kampen stood out in a 3-0 win against Whitman.
