Sarah Cornell pitched a one-hitter with 17 strikeouts and a walk to lift Clarke to a 6-3 win over Glen Cove in Nassau Conference A-I softball Saturday.

Cornell carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning. She also went 1-for-1 with a homer and three walks. Kirstin Cox was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Selena Ruiz went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Clarke (16-2), which is the A-I co-champion with Carey.

Carey 8, Seaford 0: Ruth Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs to lead Carey (16-2) in A-I. Rebecca Vilchez had two triples and an RBI. Jenna Turato allowed four hits and struck out five in a complete-game win.

Malverne 12, Friends Academy 0: Sydney Witowski tossed a five-inning no hitter, striking out six in Conference ABC-IV. It was the first no-hitter of the senior's career in her last regular-season game, coach Jen Gibbons said. Kym Danns had two home runs, a triple and four RBI for Malverne (13-3).

East Rockaway 16, Sewanhaka 4: Marisa Felbinger went 3-for-5 with two homers and four RBIs as East Rockaway (13-3) clinched the Conference AB-III championship, coach Joe Lores said. Sarah Donnelly's three-run home run in the second inning gave the Rocks an 8-0 lead and capped a seven-run inning. Emily Chelius hit a two-run home run in the fourth.

Hewlett 4, Great Neck North 3: Jamie Goldberg hit a go-ahead RBI double in the seventh to drive in Val Elefante for Hewlett (10-6) in Conference AB-IV. Margaret Feldman allowed one earned run in seven innings.

Floyd 5, Sachem North 4: Jayna Rios scored on an error in the sixth to break a tie at 4 and lead Floyd (10-9) in Suffolk League I. Macy Kane hit a two-run homer in the fifth to tie it at 4 for Floyd.

Mount Sinai 6, East Hampton 0: Julia Golino struck out 11 in her two-hitter to lead Mt. Sinai (10-1) in its League V win. Emily Solomos went 4-for-4. Cassandra Wilson and Maria Pelarin both went 3-for-4.

East Islip 5, Islip 2: Jackie Carty went 2-for-2 with a double, and two stolen bases in a non-league game. Megan Munn went 2-for-3 for East Islip (12-6). Courtney Greene allowed an earned run on three hits and struck out nine.

Kellenberg 9, Oceanside 7: Kelly Rasulo went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs, and Megan Harvey went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs to lead Kellenberg (14-7).
