(Last week’s ranking in parentheses)

1. Oceanside (1)

The Sailors (19-3) scored 28 runs in their two games against Port Washington in the Nassau Class AAA quarterfinals to extend their winning streak to 12 games. Riley Brasch drove in six runs during the series. Oceanside will face Conference II champion Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK in the semifinals.

2. St. Anthony’s (2)

The Friars (19-5) defeated Holy Trinity, 8-0, to end the regular season on a high note. The five-time defending state CHSAA champs enter the NSCHSAA playoffs as the top seed and will face No. 4 Sacred Heart in a semifinal series beginning on Tuesday.

3. Sachem North (3)

The Flaming Arrows put an exclamation point on an excellent regular season with wins over Comsewogue/Port Jefferson and Bay Shore to clinch the League III title. Sachem North (18-2) has won seven in a row, outscoring opponents by 64 runs in that stretch.

4. Wantagh (4)

Scored 29 runs in its two Nassau A quarterfinal games against Lynbrook. Lucy Olore tossed 10 scoreless innings and Kelly Skelton had four RBIs in just two at-bats, setting up a semifinal meeting with the reigning county champion, Mineola, which knocked Wantagh (13-5) out of last year’s postseason.

5. Massapequa (5)

After a bit of an offensive dryspell, Massapequa (15-7) scored 20 runs in two games against Hicksville in the Nassau AAA quarterfinals. Sienna Erker hit a home run in Game 2 and has hit five in the team’s last 10 games. Massapequa will take on Syosset in the semifinals.

6. Miller Place (6)

The Panthers couldn't be riding much higher after outlasting Kings Park in a 13-inning instant classic to win the League V title. Delaney Schleider and Laney Vomero provide plenty of pop for the reigning state A champions. Miller Place (16-3) enters the postseason on an eight-game winning streak.

7. Commack (8)

The Cougars (17-3) ended the regular season with a 4-2 win over Northport, avenging their most recent loss, which occurred on April 20. Since then, Commack has won 11 straight. Kate Schweitzer’s dominant pitching and timely hitting make the Cougars a top contender in the AAA playoffs.

8. Kellenberg (7)

The Firebirds defeated Sacred Heart to end the regular season on a seven-game winning streak, with wins over Massapequa, St. Anthony’s and East Islip in that stretch. Second-seeded Kellenberg (15-8) will face No. 3 Holy Trinity in an NSCHSAA semifinal series.

9. Seaford (9)

Seaford picked up two wins against Floral Park in the Nassau A quarterfinals. Rylie Betz struck out 16 in a five-inning no-hitter and Sammi Masie had five hits in the series. Seaford (11-8) will take on Plainedge in the semifinals.

10. East Islip (10)

Wins over Smithtown West and West Babylon secured the League III crown for East Islip (13-5), marking seven league titles in nine years. Lexi Kneisel, Kayla Varga and Marisa Renganeschi have the reigning Long Island Class AA champs rolling into the postseason.

On the cusp: Calhoun, Kings Park, Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK, Mepham, Westhampton.
