She is seeded No. 1 in the 200 individual medley after posting a 2:04.89 and will be the second seed in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.99). 
 <a href="/topics//Suffolk_County,_NY">Suffolk</a> placed two relay teams in both the Federation and public school finals and will have seven chances for individual state titles when the championships resume Saturday. <a href="/topics//Nassau_County,_NY">Nassau</a> will have 11 individual chances for state titles. 
 Chan's events also may be the "don't-miss" races of the day as <a href="/topics//Northport,_NY">Northport</a>'s Nicole Papsco will be providing <a href="/topics//New_Hyde_Park,_NY">New Hyde Park</a>'s Chan some stiff competition. 
 Papsco already has garnered All-American status by posting a 1:03.85 in the 100-yard breaststroke.. In the 200 IM, Papsco will be the second seed behind Chan. 
 <a href="/topics//Massapequa,_NY">Massapequa</a>'s Molly Treble and Trudiann Patrick of <a href="/topics//Jericho,_NY">Jericho</a> also will have two chances to win state titles. Treble's 500-yard freestyle time (4:55.13) bested the All-American consideration standard by more than two seconds. She also gained the fourth seed in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.80), topping her state qualifying time by more than four seconds. Patrick recorded her All-American consideration time in the 100-yard butterfly (56.40) and qualified for the public school state final in the 50-yard freestyle. 
 <a href="/topics//Bellmore,_NY">Bellmore</a>-<a href="/topics//Merrick,_NY">Merrick</a>'s Gabbie Toback rounds out <a href="/topics//Nassau_County,_NY">Nassau</a>'s prowess in the pool, topping the All-American consideration time in the 100-yard backstroke (56.51). 
 Connetquot's Nicole Hetzert is seeded ninth in the 100-yard butterfly finals and will swim the second leg of the 200 medley relay. <a href="/topics//East_Hampton,_NY">East Hampton</a>'s Marina Preiss is seeded sixth in the 100 freestyle and qualified for the public school's 50 freestyle final.
