Merlo, Lem help lift Chaminade tennis

Chris Merlo and Mike Lem defeated John Randolf and Joe Antonucci, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (13-11), at first doubles as No. 2 Chaminade topped No. 3 St. John the Baptist, 6-1, in a CHSAA boys tennis semifinal Thursday. Chaminade will play No. 1 St. Anthony's in the team final at 4 p.m. Friday.

St. Anthony's 7, Kellenberg 0:Ian Glessing defeated Andy O'Brien in second singles, 5-7, 6-2, 13-9, to lead No. 1 St. Anthony's (9-0) in a CHSAA semifinal.

BOYS GOLF

Chaminade 4.5, St. Anthony's 2.5:Griffin McQuilling shot a 1-under 34 on the front nine at Huntington Country Club to lead Chaminade. Jack Williams shot 36 and John Reali and Ryan Kessler each shot 38 for Chaminade (9-0). Chris Conroy shot a 39 for St. Anthony's (8-1).
