Victoria Vitale won the all-around with a 35.0 to lead Plainview JFK in a 167.25-162.35 victory over Bethpage in Nassau gymnastics Tuesday.

Vitale won the vault with a 9.0 and tied for first on beam (9.2). Serena Pergola scored a 9.2 on beam and took second in the all-around (33.9) for Bethpage. Bethpage's Erin Roach and Melissa Krops of Plainview tied for second on vault (8.3). Krops also won floor (9.1). Jordan Sack won the uneven bars with an 8.8 and took third in the all-around (33.85) for Plainview JFK (3-0).

BOYS SWIMMINGSmithtown 93, Hauppauge 93:With Hauppauge trailing by two points, freshman Justin Plaschka came from behind in the final leg to win the 400-yard freestyle relay and tie the score for the Eagles (0-0-1) in non-league. Plaschka also won the 200 individual medley (2:05.10). Matt DeVito won the 200 freestyle (1:57.14) for Smithtown (0-0-1).Ward Melville 96, West Islip 90: Mike Yavid won the 50-yard freestyle (23.25) and the 100 freestyle (52.46) for Ward Melville (1-0) in League I.

Wantagh 96, Syosset 90: Derek Fields, Ryan Walpole, Jared Hermann and Mike Stewart won the 400 relay (3:40.2) to lead Wantagh (2-0) in Conference II.

BOYS BOWLINGMiddle Country 3, Northport 0:Matt Skalacki narrowly missed a perfect game, leaving the seven pin on his final roll for a 299 in Game 2 of an 826 series, leading Middle Country (4-1) in a 1,150-996, 1,157-1,019, 1,144-933 win in League II. Syosset 2, Bethpage 1:Ryan Graham bowled a 265 in Game 1 of a 675 series to lead Syosset in a 779-652, 786-735, 698-740 win in Conference III. Jon Wright shot a 232 in Game 2 of a 614 series.

Chaminade 3, St. Mary's 0: Nick Niles rolled a 255 in Game 3 of a 709 series to lead Chaminade (6-1) in a 1,113-887, 1,171-775, 1,084-847 win in CHSAA. GIRLS BOWLINGSachem East 2, Bellport 1:Jessica Caruana rolled a 245 in Game 3 of a 668 series to lead Sachem East (7-4) in League II.

East Meadow 2, Clarke 1:Erica Tuthill bowled a 201 in Game 3 of a 541 series for East Meadow in a 524-612, 570-547, 659-604 win in Conference IV.
