Alexa Mastando had 12 aces, including five in the deciding fifth game for No. 8 Rocky Point in a 3-2 win over ninth-seeded Miller Place in a Suffolk Class A girls volleyball outbracket playoff game yesterday.

Addison Schmitt added 14 kills for Rocky Point (9-7) in its 25-17, 27-29, 18-25, 25-21, 25-21 victory.

Mastando had six straight service points in the final game for Rocky Point, which plays at No. 1 Kings Park in a quarterfinal at 4 p.m. today.

Connetquot 3, Bay Shore 1: Bobby Nilsen had 17 kills and 10 blocks, Sean Labriola had 15 kills and four blocks and Christian Hamlett had 29 assists for No. 8 Connetquot (10-4) in a 25-22, 25-19, 24-26, 25-20 win over No. 9 Bay Shore in Suffolk Division I outbracket game. Connetquot will play at No. 1 Lindenhurst in a quarterfinal at 4 p.m. today.

Sachem North 3, Smithtown East 0: John Echel had 17 kills and five blocks, Brian Trusley had 12 kills and Alex Lazarich had nine kills and four digs to lead No. 5 Sachem North (8-7) to a 25-12, 25-20, 25-18 win over No. 4 Smithtown East in a Suffolk Division I outbracket game. Sachem North will face the winner of No. 8 Connetquot vs. No. 1 Lindenhurst in a semifinal at 10 a.m. tomorrow.BOYS SOCCER

Southold 5, Greenport/Shelter Island 0: Evan Miller had three goals for No. 2 Southold (13-4) in a Suffolk Class C semifinal. Senior Muhammet Ilgin scored his first two goals of the season and Drew Sacher added three assists in the win. Kenji Fujita had eight saves for Southold, which will face the winner of Port Jefferson-Pierson in the final at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Diamond in the Pines.
